Official hello

Hi everyone! I put my info on one of the intro posts at the top of the page, but I'm getting the idea that most everyone does their own post as well, so I am doing that now. (I'm new to internet forums outside of some time I spent on the Knot in 2011, so I know just a little about etiquette, etc., and have been lurking here enough to have picked up some lingo!)

Husband and I have been trying (sort of) for a baby since maybe July of this year. Missed my October AF by four days, did a home pregnancy test on Oct. 10th, and was pretty unsure of how I felt when it came back positive. Did another the next day, told my husband, and it's finally starting to feel real and now I'm definitely excited and on board.

Have my first appointment with my gyno on Monday, but she doesn't do OB, so now I have to decide whether to stay with that group but a different doctor or find another practitioner.

Good luck to everyone and I'll see you all around as I bump while watching TV in the evenings (about all I have energy for these days)!
