I had to take DS for a blood test today. It was far worse than I could have imagined. He full out screamed even awhile later just thinking about it. During it, I started crying as much as he did. It was just plain awful.

I'm just in a crappy mood today.  My RE follow-up apt wasn't exactly terrible, but I also didn't really get to see what we were hoping to see.  I had to drop another $100 on this cycle today plus another $150 next week for another u/s, which I know isn't that much in the grand scheme of things, but I still hate gambling that money. 

And I am just so darn tired today.  DH kept trying to steal my pillows last night and DS seemed to be restless as well, so I kept waking up.  At least today is Friday!  

I get to meet Sophie Kinsella tomorrow and I'm looking forward to that.  But I'm kind of irritated at my BIL and SIL.  They live about 1.5 hrs from us and don't see them too often.  And the book signing is only about 5 minutes from their house.  So a month ago when I told DH I wanted to go see Sophie Kinsella when she's down the street from BIL and SIL, we arranged to do lunch with them.  A MONTH ago, they agreed to hang out after the book signing.  Now, today, they say they are house sitting her parents's house (20 min from where they live) and they can't meet us for lunch because they can't get out of house sitting.  What is that?!?!!?!  They said we could come to them if we wanted to, but I feel like if we aren't a priority to them, then I'm not going to make any extra effort to accommodate the fact that apparently house sitting means you're not allowed to leave the house.  Her parents don't even have any pets.  Is there someone home 24/7?  It just seems like a dumb, illogical reason to change the plans.  I don't understand why they can't drive 20 to meet us when we are already coming 1.5 hours to get to the area.  And we made these plans a month ago and they mentioned they were going to be house sitting, but didn't inform us that they won't leave the house until today, the day before we are planning to hang out.  

I think i'm getting worked up over nothing because I'm already in a pissy mood.  Why does family have to be so complicated???

That is the dumbest shit I ever read, G&T. Seriously? House sitting means you literally have to SIT there the entire time? Nope. They're being dbags.   8-| That's not even a semi decent excuse. Just dumb.

Thank the heavens this is DD's last swim class. Sweating at the Y every Saturday for 8 weeks has been well - sweaty. And my little princess insists on quitting 5 min early every week because she is a diva. Yep - I said it. I love her but she is a diva.

On a very happy note - ultrasound looked good Thursday so stopped BCP. Need another good ultrasound Monday and I should be starting meds.

My DD (3.5) has turned into a jerk.  A kicking, screaming, tantruming 3.5 monster.  Her tantrums are a 50/50 mix of hilarious and heartbreaking so I have the hardest time keeping a straight face.  Which totally doesn't help the situation.  

She used to be so sweet and now all she wants to do is the opposite of what I ask.

I hear you. I'm dealing with the same shit with my 3 y/o, more so whenever H is home, because she knows she can get away with it much more with Daddy.  8-|
