early signs of labor?

We all know about the standards: contractions, mucus plug, baby drops, beginning to dilate... but any other interesting/weird early signs of labor that anyone experienced? I have read weight loss, intense hunger, and diarrhea/vomiting aren't unheard of.

I wish I had early signs.....the last few weeks were like death for me. Not I literally but I was just so uncomfortable. My mom had gone early with my sister and I, And her water also broke for both of us as well so I thought my labor would begin the same. Not the case. I started to have contractions the night after my due date (Friday the 13th on a doll moon). I lost my mucus plug about two days prior if that helps?

These all help... I'm really just curious if there are any cool old wives tales to start paying attention for. I am still 4 weeks out so it's a bit early to be wishing for a visit to L&D but I am definitely at the uncomfortable stage!
