Hello ladies! I am rather new on the boards but I kind of jumped in over at TTCAL. The amount of support the ladies on here provides has been a life saver. I have told my story a couple of times but since I am AMA (going to be 40 in June) I wanted to come over there.
My TTC journey started a bit late in life. I married my first husband 2 weeks after I turned 19, I had been with him since 17. After many years of knowing that he wasn't the one, I decided to leave at age 30. 14 years with him and I never once wanted a child. Then I met my latest husband when I was 34 and we married a year and a half ago. When we met we were both divorced with no children and neither of us wanted kids. Then our relationship got more serious and we realized that we would love to have a child together. We started trying a little bit before we got married (GASP!) The rest of the story is below:
My very first pregnancy was in May of 2013, 4 months after we got married. I had an early miscarriage at about 4w6d. I only knew for a day and a half and the MC happened. I didn't even have time to have my first appointment.
My second pregnancy was this past March and that was quite a rollercoaster. First US showed twins but one didn't make it. The second US showed both twins and they both seemed ok. Third US at 6 weeks showed that one of the twins was gone (hearing it a second time when I had some hope was devastating). Right before my 4th US I started the MC of the second twin, this was at a litlte over 10 weeks.
I got my 3rd BFP on 10/10, just a short 2 weeks ago. My MC started on 10/15, 3 days before my first appointment.
Because I had gotten pregnant so quickly for a second time my OBGYN didn't really recommend a specialist. Now they are. I am waiting for the paperwork to be send from my OBGYN to the RE so I can get in for my first appointment and I am petrified. MH and I have a lot to talk about becuase we had originally said we would try one more time or until next May, whichever came first. I am having a hard time throwing in the towel at this point though ![]()
I have seen the road many of you ladies have gone down and I am truly amazed by the patience and the strength that you all have. I want to thank you all for sharing your stories, it so very appreciated and helps so many that are lurking in the background.
Lots of hugs to you all! (and sorry so long...you should get paid if you got through all of that lol)

I am so sorry for your losses, I have had two so I understand your pain.
I hope you can see an RE soon so you can make a plan to move foreword. Have you had any RPL testing. If not the RE will do it all.
We have had several grads who did IVF using embryos that were tested first to make sure there were no chromosomal abnormalities. If that is what is happening to cause your losses you have that option if you are willing to go that route.
I wish you luck and I hope we can help you on your journey.

I haven't had any RPL testing yet, I'm sure that will be coming. I'm just hoping I didn't wait too late. We have had many discussions where we decided next May is our cut off.
Nothing is set on stone though so we shall see! I'm getting impatient to see the RE so I'm hoping it's soon.
So sorry about your losses. Hopefully your time here will be short. Welcome, this is great board!

Don't worry about the RE. You will feel much better once you get a few answers. The knowledge is nothing to be afraid of. My only counsel would be to not set dates on yourselves. I think it creates more pressure...you'll just have to go with your gut.
I think we chatted on another board and are in very similar circumstances, MC and age-wise. Feel free to PM me and good luck!

@peregrinefalconx thank you so much and you're right, putting a time on it is probably much more pressure than it needs to be.
Yes, it seems we are in similiar situations. Same goes for you, I am just a PM away!
