    Hi Team :)

Things have been insanely busy ever since our 9/29 follow-up with Dr. KK. Trying to keep up with all the new meds & supplements, blood work, and lifestyle changes has been all-consuming.

Diet - my diet is getting better and better, and my nutritionist is helping me to figure out this whole low-carb/gluten-free/dairy-free thing. I'm definitely not perfect, but I'm trying my best.

Exercise - exercise is adequate. After my big race on Oct 12, I have really scaled back on the running. Starting on Monday, I am not allowed to run at all, so I am making my plan to keep me moving. Yoga, walking, strength & core workouts are part of the plan. I may also try the 21 Day Fix (a watered down version of P90X).

Emotional Health - I'm doing C+B and yoga to keep my mind focused and balanced throughout the stress of my cycle. I have completely cleared my weekend schedule through November, and will preserve that time for restoration. My weeks are so busy, and I'm making my best effort to keep the stress from taking over.

COTW - I'll be aggressive here and say that I'm going for a walking streak! At least 10 minutes a day of brisk walking, though I'll aim for 3-4 of those days to be around 30-60 minutes (to take the place of my running).

After my 2 half marathons I'm going to be backing off from serious training. I won't sign up for another race until at least January. I need to go easy with the running to let some foot and knee injuries heal, but I plan to keep up with walking, zumba, and strength training in the mean time.

COTW: @RunCC37‌ I'm going to try for a walking streak as well. I'm sure I can get my husband to go walking with me most days so I don't have to do it alone. It's boring that way. I'll try for at least 20 min a day.

@RunCC37 - It sounds like you're getting into the swing of things with all those changes :) I don't know that I could give up so many delicious things, so more power to you!

@AuroraP725 - Hopefully the time off from intense training will help you to heal :)

AFM - Well... I saw the nutritionist (for the first time in forever!) on Wednesday. She is switching everything up! First up, changing when I take my supplements, which is really fucking with me. I'm not supposed to eat after seven so that I can take my Synthroid before I go to bed (I've always taken it in the morning) so that I can have breakfast before I leave for work in the morning and jump start my metabolism for the day. But duuuuuuuuude... I'm starving by the time bed rolls around! She has me eating several extra times during the day, so hopefully this will even itself out soon? She also wants me to stop any extra intense exercise (yeah, it's still going to happen at least once a week, thanks to work!) and do light cardio and strength training for a half hour a day. That's it. She said that intense workouts can actually put stress on your thyroid, causing it to swing back and forth (which is a huge issue for me). So it's better to do light stuff, but every single day. No days off. Ever. Unless I cannot physically get out of bed.

COTW: So, I guess this is going to be when I start doing 30 minutes every single day? I've just been trying to figure out my food and supplements the last couple of days, so now I'm going to add in the 30 minutes of daily cardio :)

Hello ladies!! You all are doing amazing!!

@RunCC37‌ sounds like you have so much going on!! I hope that all of these changes help you with your next cycle.

AFM: I am currently cycling on day 9 of stims. I'm uncomfortable at this point even sitting in some positions so working out has hit the back burner for a few. The plan is to do a freeze all cycle so hopefully I can get back on the workout train soon. Good news is I'm down 6 lbs total and haven't gained an ounce this cycle!! I normally gain 5lbs each one.

If I can maintain, I have met my benchmark for Nov 7.  I wanted to drop my BMI by a "category" or to below 35 before my next ER.  I have lost 18 lbs which just barely meets that goal (BMI 34.9).  I'm happy with this, but hopefully will not gain during my IVF #2.  I take my last BCP today, continue lupron and wait for AF to show to schedule my baseline.

Goal of the week:  We have not had a working refrigerator for a few weeks so we have been eating out a lot.  My goal is to limit eating out to once a week, so that I can  eat healthier meals.

@RunCC37  I'm glad to see things are going better with your diet.  Your exercise and emotional health plans seem great.
@Justone13 Congrats on no weight gain!  That is awesome.
@lemonliz Loosing 0.6 lb is still progress.  At least it is headed in the right direction.
Me 27 DH 29 Married since 2007, together since 2001

My favorite yoga instructor announced that she won't be teaching Wednesday nights anymore :(( It's a shame because it was a great class. Sigh. I'm going to try to find a yoga studio closer to home. I traveled out of my way because the instructor is AWESOME! She's the same instructor from the fertility yoga offered at my former clinic. Seriously, she's the best! I'm so sad!!
