Placenta seperation?

My OB just called me (at 8:30 at night). She got the results of my ultrasound. She says it shows a tiny seperation in the placenta. She said as long as I am not bleeding (I am not), it's nothing to worry about and these things usually fix themselves.

Of course, my pgal brain is freaking the fuck out right now. I CANNOT lose this baby now. I just can't.

Anyone have any experience with this? Calm my nerves?

I didn't have a separation, but I did have a Subchorionic hemorrhage which seems similar. Unfortunately I lost mine, but many women don't. I hope and pray this will be ok for you!

If the nurse wasn't worried about it, I'm sure it's fine. They probably see things like this everyday. Will keep you on my prayers!

Yes! I had the same with my son at about 6 weeks. The doc put me on progesterone pills. I don't think it ever healed but the placenta didn't separate any further. I did have bleeding that is how I was diagnosed. Anyway my son is now 9yrs old. So if the doc says not to worry I wouldn't.
