But I feel something in my stomach, and it's just reminding me that there's a living creature in there.  I had an ultrasound yesterday and while it was amazing to see the alien-baby moving around in there, today it keeps popping into my head in a creepy way - like, THERE IS A LIVING CREATURE MOVING ITS LIMBS INSIDE OF MY ABDOMEN!!!!!  Am I the only one more than slightly freaked out by this?

Yeah, pointless post.  I'm done now.

I use to put small books on my stomach at work with my second and he'd kick them off. It would freak out my male coworker.

Yes, both of those sound totally creepy!

At my ultrasound yesterday, the tech was trying to get some specific measurement and she had me cough to try to get the fetus to move into a certain position, and we'd see the movement on the screen immediately.  I keep coughing tonight for some reason, and every time I do it, I think of it jumping around inside of me, LOL.

Just wait until you're laying on the sofa and you look down and see a giant lump pushing out of the side of your stomach and then rolling around. It's like the movie Alien. So creepy. Not to mention painful.

I got another creepy. When my 1st son switched from breech to head down holy crap that was weird. I was freaking out you could see him turn completely. I was also 18/19 at the time and clueless.

I also loved to poke at the little feet and hands that would stick out. My youngest hated that and my oldest just kicked my ribs and bruised me. I learned not to mess with him.

I'm sorry, feeling the baby is my favorite part of pregnancy.

Personally I can't wait to feel and see baby moving around! Maybe I'm in the minority, but I just don't find it creepy in the slightest... I looooove thinking about how my body is my first ever home for my tiny little wiggling alien baby! :x

My youngest who's now 15 still refers to me as his first home.

I always got kind of freaked out when she would push to one side, and my whole stomach would be totally misshapen for a few minutes.

@abbalish‌ As a FTM I totally understand! I can't wait to feel real movement, but right now it's still very weird. You're going along in autopilot mode at work, and then suddenly you remember there's a tiny creature inside you. What's up, LO? What are you doing? Wish I had a security camera in there to film the secret life of baby.

One of my favorite memories of my daughter was driving to work listening to Christmas music. I'd sing along and she would dance around. It was so fun. It helped me bond with her so much.

I feel what may be phantom movements/gas or may real right now. It makes me ache for the real thing! Love them moving around in there Although I agree with PP that it's not so fun late in the game when she was kicking in the ribs and what not..

I can't wait to feel movement! Definitely my fave part of pregnancy.

My daughter would always get super active in the afternoons when I was at work. I would try to balance something on my stomach too, just to watcher her kick/punch it off. I also loved when you could see a hand or a foot. There are times you can really tell what's sticking out!

I cannot wait til I can feel/see the baby move. I am constantly pressing on my stomach to see if I can feel anything, obviously I can't! But soon young grasshopper, very soon!!!

My oldest would push his feet so hard against me I could almost count toes.

I would snuggle up to DH's back and DD would kick him. We loved it.

That is one thing I miss from DS. I loved feeling him and his daddy loved watching. We would laugh at how active he was, and still is. My IL's never touched my stomach because they could see DS moving through my shirt if I was just sitting on the couch. Of course, after 36 weeks he bruised my ribs and it was so painful I could hardly take it. So, that I'm not looking forward to. Never had a problem sleeping with him moving though. I guess I was so tired I didn't care.

I loved feeling DD move last time.  Toward the end of my pregnancy, she would get hiccups like every day.  It was cute at first but after awhile, it got super annoying because I would just be sitting there and my stomach would kinda jump every few seconds.
