Cloth Diapering

Help me shop for Christmas fluff!

Our first little one is due December 19 and one of my good friends just gifted us a newborn photo shoot with a professional photographer. I wasn't going to spend the money myself, but now that we've received such a generous present, I want to do it right. So little guy needs at least one Christmas cloth diaper for the shoot, right? Any suggestions?

  • Wahm fitted. If you hop on it you could possibly get a custom with some sweet embordary.

  • I'd go with a solid color too. One, it won't look as odd as using a Christmas print diaper months after the season is over. Two, solid colors (even stripes or dots) look better in new born photo shoots. Some prints are just too busy for the little bundle.
  • Maybe a flannel plaid WAHM fitted? Super cute and appropriate for a winter baby :-)

  • Yeah, but if it's for a NB photo shoot the diaper won't see much use throughout the year after that....so I say go for an awesomely adorable NB Xmas dipe.

Just throwing it out there but Twinkie Tush just put up some really cute holiday-themed pre-order options, which means you buy it now, but will get it in 4-6 weeks (definitely in time for the holiday, though you could always email TT to check).  They have a NB options (called Teenie Tush). The pre-order opens up at 2 pm est today.

  • RaRz Dexter is my favorite not Holiday, but close enough to holiday colors print.

And you can pair it with a red Santa hat or a red blanket without having too much red in the picture.

Plus, I think it looks great with black and white picture.

  • Thanks, everyone. I loved the Twinkie Tush suggestion, but didn't like the only non-girly print :( I like the idea of a plaid, though and I'm going to check that out. If he was going to be already in one-size I'd probably be practical and go with a solid, but I'm definitely in the newborn range! Thanks again! I will be sure to post pics when it finally happens :)
