Christmas Stockings

I realize it's stIll a bit soon to discuss Christmas, but I am looking for stockings that I can get customized with DD and DS's names on them. I've looked online and found a few places with this option. I want ones that will hold up for a long time. had anyone bought customized stockings for older kids? If so are they good ones that seem to hold up or no? Where did you get tem from?

I have no older kids, so I cant vouch for that, but personalizedcreations.com has some absolutely adorable ones and they are very reasonable. DH and I both have one we are using for the 3rd year, and Im ordering one for LO to match.

That is one of the sites I'm looking at, but didn't want to shell out the cash for ones that aren't good quality.

We bought a HUGE sticking on sale 3 years ago (when we started trying) and it's just a plain stocking. I plan on getting some iron on things Nd iron it on or sewing some patches of things on it... Not sure yet!!!

We have hand knit stockings with each person's name on them. My grandmother made the originals, which are at least 30 years old - I don't remember a Christmas without them. My mom has made the spouses and grandkids' matching stockings. Only 1 has needed repair over the years (my brother left candy in his and a dog got it).

Another one in this boat, except my Grandmother is still knitting them.  My mother still uses the one she knit for her 50+ years ago.  She knit several extras a few years ago to have on hand for when she wouldn't be able to knit them anymore, but I didn't like the patterns she used as much, so she's actually knitting a new one for DD that will be similar to DS's.

My mom made ours!   (This was the way we announced LO since we had an extra!)

She has a store on ETSY where she is selling them now.

DH and DS1 have Pottery Barn ones. I've been using my old one but am going to upgrade to PB because theirs hold so much more than mine does! I need to make DH work to be able to fill mine. :)

I would love to make them, but I can't knit or crochet so I've also debated getting fabric and sewing them myself.

@quinncat I had not looked at lands end, thanks for the recommendation.

Ditto Pottery Barn! I love how huge they are too, because stocking stuffers are my fave.

I just bought some this summer from personal creations and they are a great quality. I got them for 9 each since it wasn't prime Christmas season :)

Ours are from Pottery Barn Kids too. We just got them a couple of years ago, but they seem like they will hold up for a long time. Plus as others have said, they are huge which we love since DH and I only do stockings for each other at Christmas. We just got LO's stocking about a week ago.

I got some 3 years ago for me, dh and ds from lands end that I really like. They are cross stitched. I will be ordering the twins stockings from there as well.

We have ones from Lands end that we like. I wanted something timeless that I could add to as our family grew.

I picked out DS's stocking, I just need to order it. I am way more excited for christmas this year than I've ever been.
First Baby and a complete surprise.
Hubby has decided to be team green so we are driving friends and family crazy!
