Oh Thank Goodness! I have been reading this on pins and needles. Thank you for updating, I will continue to keep you in my prayers. That's great! Now you can breath a sigh of relief and relax a bit
They told me my son may have trisomy 18 at 20 weeks with my first, for two weeks all I did was google and cry, google and cry, over and over. It was horrible, like a nightmare. Then they came back and said he didn't. So although it's different I know kind of how you feel. It's very scary and I wish you nothing but the best! Stay positive!
So glad to read this update!! So what's the next step? Do they wait until he's born to do anything?
Things can still change for the better or worse. Next appointment we'll discuss probably severity. But, yes, options will mostly be fully apparent only at birth, and that's when the treatment plan will be started. We are continuing to pray!
I am so sorry that I missed this when you originally posted but I am soooo happy that you received good news! I have heard of similar conditions and babies needing surgery right after birth. And all of the cases I heard of had positive outcomes! I am keeping you in my prayers and keep us posted as things progress!
I can't imagine how scared you must be. Praying for your miracle-I know they're possible. Wish there was more we all could do. But T&P are with you and your little one
