Time change and sleep schedules

Sooo daylight savings is coming up, and DS currently goes to bed around 7:30, wakes up around 6-6:30.  Anyone have a plan/ideas for dealing with the time change? I would happily put him to bed at 6:30, but I definitely don't want to be getting up at 5 am. Any moms with experience in this?

  • It takes a couple weeks tops, but the kids will adjust if you keep meals and naps on schedule. Don't overthink it!

With my bigs, daylight savings didn't really affect them until they were toddlers. When they were babies, they adjusted super fast ... I just stuck to their regular schedule and they went right along with it. Fingers crossed it works out that way this time too.

Exactly this. I'm more worried about DS with the time change than DD.

  • Gosh I never even thought about this! LO normally goes to bed at 8 so I'm happy with a 7pm bed time. And ill just keep him on that route
