Just got back from the doctors. No more bananas for my LO!
His face turned bright red with blotches that looked like gives all over, but mostly around mouth and chin about 10-15 mins after he finished bananas. I called the dr to find out if I could give him Benadryl and how much. They said to take pics of him, give the Benadryl and come right in. The gives were going away a little by the time I gave him the Benadryl and were completely gone at the office. I guess the appt was a waste of time, but they did check his lungs and it's good to know he didn't even have minor wheezing.
Thank god he is okay! I was so surprised because bananas are not a highly allergic food.
Re: Reaction to bananas!
Glad it wasn't a huge issue though.

@bridetobe9132013 I like them and have no allergy, but they are definitely binding. That's really what I was worried about.
@haylo33 just said the same thing the other
@kat8805 I'll check it out. Thanks!
@kittyriot we don't have any sensitivities to any foods so we were surprised.
Definitely more concerned for the next foods he tries. Sweet potatoes and avocados are fine!

I didn't think he'd have a reaction at all. Such a healthy fruit. Hope he grows out if it.
