San Diego GTG?

So it looks like we'll be in San Diego on Nov 15. Hopefully for a few days at least. Anyone want to get together?

I don't have a clue where we're staying. Does north of Tecale make sense? I think that's the border crossing we're going to use.

Maybe there's somewhere good for you to meet up? An activity we could do?

yes! I was just looking, and I do mean Tecate. They say it's got good RV parks nearby, with tons of people heading south. So I think we're going there. And apparently driving a 30 trailer through Tijuana sucks

I can suggest tons of things to do in East County. Outside of that, I'm not sure. We kind of stay in our bubble here. Lol.

There's obviously things like the zoo or safari park. Those things will cost money for people who don't have memberships though.

I will try to make it too! We live in Encinitas. Later afternoon or early dinner on either the 15th or 16th would work for us! Earlier in the day would be tough because I have a baby shower on the 15th and birthday party on the 16th. We normally have zero plans on weekends - that one just happens to be busy!

Let me throw out Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, which is totally self-serving because it's close to me . But it would be relatively close to those of us in North County and equidistant between from Tecate and mummypig in Orange County. It's free, has plenty of parking, a fabulous playground, beach, picnic tables and concession stand. I will offer to bring drinks and snacks. I could arrive at 3:30 pm Saturday but if others wanted to go earlier and spend time at the beach you could. Again this is totally self serving but I thought I'd throw out a suggestion to get us thinking about plans

I like the idea of low cost. Plus the zoo has a lot of walking and I'm a lazy fat girl. so if that's the plan id have to say I'm out.
And I just realized that's the first weekend of be back at workS but if I can work in the AM and head out after work with LO will. I like the idea of northern county too. Less drive home for me
