This could b a good thing.. I got my period today whivh means I ovulated two days later than I thought,, which would explain things a little more.. feeling more optimistic now

You have no way of knowing when you ovulated based on when you get your period.  You need to temp to know when you ovulate.

Yes, start temping tomorrow morning. Since you're only on CD1 today, you're well positioned to get a sense of your temps throughout your cycle. I'm only in my second cycle of temping, but Fertility Friend has been a wealth of good information. I think most people on here temp. My RE nurse told me not to bother. I bought the Clearblue Fertility Monitor (pricey) bc I was having 42 day cycles and couldn't figure out even remotely when I was ovulating. Temping wouldn't work for me either bc I have sleep issues (so no good time to do it).
