Drinking citrucel while pregnant

hello everyone! I have been having constipation problems and my doctor suggested to drink citrucel every day. I have to admit it did help but want to know if anyone else got this suggestion from their doctor. I am just a little skeptical drinking this every day because of the baby. Would appreciate your input.

Let me get this straight:

1) You went to see your doctor, who made a suggestion to help with your issue.
2) You followed that suggestion, and it worked.
3) For some mysterious reason you are suddenly second guessing the medical expert.
4) And now you turn to a bunch of unknown random strangers on the internet for confirmation of medical advice.

WHY??!?!

Didn't expect these kind of comments but I guess some women have anger issues. I am glad I am not one of them and I would certainly not bash another mom to be just because she wanted input something.

Seriously.  I completely understand why reactions like these completely blindsided you.

She didn't expect it, and why should she? She's never read anything on the board before...at least as far as I can see.
