I see a lot of new faces around here, a BFP or two, and can't wait to catch up on the rest!
I've been benched for the last couple of months due to a ginormous cyst, which was diagnosed late because it was mistaken for an egg (on day 25 of a 27-day cycle, so clearly I wasn't working with the sharpest tools in the shed on the US). So, birth control, benching, etc etc. Yay.
Meanwhile, I got some more bloodwork done. My estradiol came in at 69.6 and my FSH at 7.2, along with my AMH of 2.36, indicating a good egg reserve according to my RE. I asked her to take a second look at my HSG results, and she thinks one side is open and the other is inconclusive/potentially blocked. Unfortunately that side is the one I tend to ovulate from, which may explain why I'm not pg in spite of good SA and egg reserve and almost a year of trying. I had an appendectomy followed by infection as a child, so scarring is a possibility.
I'm getting laparoscopic surgery early Tuesday to check for a blockage and, if found, possibly remove it. If it can't be removed, we may be told to try IVF. DH and I are already nixing the idea, both due to the expense and the level of medical intervention involved. I've had bad reactions to every drug I've been given, so the idea of injecting myself daily and getting hormonal migraines from hell does not appeal. So we'd probably keep trying naturally while pursuing adoption.
So anyway, that's what's up in my world. What did I miss around here?

TTC#1 (and likely only) since 9/13. Saw RE 5/14, SA good, AMH 2.36, FSH 7.2, estradiol 69.6 indicating good egg reserve. Using OPKs. First Letrozole cycle 6/14, a burst cyst and a BFN. Second Letrozole cycle 7/14, BFN.
Update 11/14 - had laparoscopy 10/28, good news is that my uterus and left tube look good, and they were able to drain the cyst on my left ovary. Bad news is that right tube and ovary have endo and scar tissue, so they're pretty useless.. Best news is that we finally have some answers and a path forward. Taking 7.5 mg letrozole CD 2-6 to put that good left ovary through its paces.
UPDATE 2/2015 - We switched to another fertility clinic, but fortunately we don't have to start all over. We're doing two cycles of Clomid plus IUI, if neither of those take, we'll do IVF in April, potentially with ICSI. (DH's SA has gone downhill, likely due to excessive exercise.) IUI#1 2/25/15....
