I had my pp check up today. What I thought was a hemorrhoid is actually a granulomma. Great. I got some silver nitrate in my taint and have to go back next week. My lady bits are burning right now.

Anybody else think "crying is a late sign off hunger" is BS? My baby goes from perfectly happy to sucking on her fingers to all out crying in about 3 minutes. That's considered "late"?

I put my Nancy Drew hat on (LO has been up a lot too) and it looks like a bunch of mods and long time regulars were banned all at the same time. Still not entirely sure why.

Most of the bannings are with regards to the new GUIDELINES. Not sure how much I can directly say but there have been a few good summaries regarding the introduction of the new GUIDELINES over on parenting.

edit: corrected since the TOU remain unchanged. It is the Guidelines.

That is what I am trying to determine and how the bump wants the Guidelines to impact how things are moderated.

Fuck...

As if having the flu wasn't bad enough my production had tanked... completely foreseeable since I haven't been able to eat. So yesterday I pumped only 11 ounces.

This afternoon, I had just finished a session and was capping the bottle when I knocked over the bottle with over 2 ounces in it.

Literally about to cry over spilled milk.

Anyone who says "There's no use crying over spilled milk" obviously never pumped. I was at a BF support group at the hospital last week and one of the moms who has a low supply talked about spilling after pumping and it made me cry just to hear the story!

@misskilljoy‌ my LO isn't like that all of the time, but he has days (like yesterday) when he needs me all of the time. It is tiring. I'm sorry your LO is keeping you from getting sleep.

I had 4 of my girlfriends over last night for wine and pizza, and it was SO great. It was fun to have people to talk to without having to leave the house with LO, and also nice to get a break from holding her while she fussed without actually being away from her. I don't have a SO to share responsibilities with anytime during the day or night. As much as I love love love my baby girl, it felt really good to have a break.

@misskilljoy, I feel your pain.

Do you have swaddle sleep sacks? Or a rock 'n play or swing? I have found mine is quieter when snugly swaddled and in a cozier/smaller sleep space. My first slept fine in our co-sleeper, but this one keeps me awake at night. She's quiet enough during the day, but I have a 2 year old who needs me then, so I can't nap. 

She's 3 weeks now and we're BFing fine. I've used the paci a couple times when we've been out in public and she's been fussy. I may start using it at night as well to see if it helps too.

Thanks mom for being happy about the fact that I might have to start supplementing with formula friday if baby girl hasn't gained any weight yet just so I can stop being selfish and share feeding with you when you stop by... lets see how well that ends up working out for you....

@nedralynn‌ - I had bittersweet feelings about this as well. Do you have a pump you can use so that you can supplement with breast milk?

Despite my bittersweet feelings, it has been great to be able to share feedings. I can eat, sleep, shower, etc
