    :( are you sad, Banich?

For me it depends on why I'm sad, but the entire Porcelain album by Helen Jane Long is excellent sad music. All instrumental, mostly piano.

  • Depression is the reason. Listening to happy songs just irritates the shit out if me when I'm having a day. Or week.

  • Life Ain't Always Beautiful by Gary Allan

then I usually switch to something more uplifting like my workout playlist that hardly gets used. Or I watch a feel good movie. Or drink moscato.

That's some dark shit right there.

I listen to Brick on the regular. It reminds me of my XBF and some dark dark times we had.

    Poison Oak - Bright Eyes

I had never heard of this until yesterday. I listened and holy shit, that is the most depressing and sad song ever to be written. Painful to listen to. But I like it a lot.
  • Thanks for all the suggestions. I wish I could export this shit to spotify.
  • 9 Crimes is by Damien Rice. I've always loved that song.
