Re: Tuesday Randomonium!!! Spelled correctly for TJ

  • I used to have a side lip piercing but it closed up before I had S. I got one in the middle a couple years ago. I've gotten a tiny finger in it occasionally but they're gentle for the most part, and I can usually avoid it. It's not a full ring tho. I keep diamond studs in my ears and no one messes with them, and a small ring in my tragus. I used to have my nipples pierced too ;) but pregnancy put an end to that lol Necklaces are what I can no longer wear. Or dangly earrings.

I have my tragus done on both sides, and on my left side I've got my rook done. I still vividly remember the sound of when my tragus was punctured.

I always forget that I used to have my belly button done, but as my stomach is stretching out the ugly scar left behind from it, now. I don't forget. :(

I had my rook done.  Until now I didn't know that was what it was called.

Back in the day I had my nose pierced.  No hoop.  Just a stud.  I took it out before I got married.

I just recently let my side lip close...I went back on forth on it for a while. I might even still be able to jam one in there if I really wanted to.

I was insistent that I was going to keep my nipple ring after M was born. I took it out during the c-section and then forgot to put it back in for a week and it was closed. Sad day :(

PTing is so hard! N keeps having accidents late in the day and is still resistant to pooping on the toilet despite the glitter. He peed in my recliner while I was making dinner tonight. Then at dinner he wouldn't swallow his food. For some reason he can't swallow raw carrots?! T
hen he peed in his chair. I am so exhausted, I thought it was 7:00 when it was 6:00, so I scooped him up, put on his pjs, sang to him, and put him to bed. To his credit, he just talked to himself for a while and conked out. L fought his naps all day and finally fell asleep on me just now. I'm sitting strAight up on my bed afraid to move. My mom keeps telling me how much trouble the boys are going to get into when L gets bigger. Someone stop the roller coaster. I need to step off and catch my breath!

ETA I didn't only serve carrots, but once he got that in his mouth, he would swallow nothing. Gah!

  • Yay for sleeping, LM! Yes, let her sleep. For one thing, her body might need the extra sleep to fight the runny nose. She might even nap better when she's not overtired today.

  • Yep I've got like my 1000th stone. I've gotten them since I was 17. I can function with when the small ones pass (which this is one) but I get very short on patience. DD watched her first tv this morning, while I waited for meds to kick in.

  • M just walked in the door and said, "i can smell what you made for dinner and I already know I hate it."  i said, "You know you hate it?  Already?  If you can tell me what it is, I'll let you eat a bowl of cereal for dinner."  "I don't know what it is, I just know I hate it," and back out the door he walked.

    Grr...who wanted the oldest one?

  • We just went to a Vietnamese restaurant for dinner.

Yeah, remember that whole MSPI no not thing? Wrong restaurant. I just had boiled chicken and dry rice noodles for dinner.

To be fair, we drove to town to go to a specific restaurant we knew was safe and turns out they are closed for renovations. Mh chose Vietnamese as the backup. :(

And it was still contaminated. We were both covered in spit up last night and today. And now she's super gassy. Farting like a frat boy... Or one of SAK's boys this week. ;)

  • we have trunk or treat at church tomorrow. P is supposed to be a gnome. I crocheted him a hat and beard, just to find that he absolutely hates it. So I'm hoping seeing the other kids dressed up will distract him enough to keep it on, otherwise he is going to be a lumber jack. (gnome without the hat and beard.)

DH was also fussing at me because I got some non candy treats to give out. (pretzel, chocolate covered pretzels and fig bars) It's mostly little kids, and I know for sure some have nut allergies so I wanted something that specifically said made in a nut free facility. Also, I don't let my kid eat tons of candy so I figure other parents might want an alternative too. He does not agree.

Also M threw/dropped my iPhone off the changing table today. The back shattered. It still works but if I take the case off it's actually dangerous shards of glass. So she won't be playing with it anymore.

Annnnnnd that means ill just HAVE to get a new one. I hate spending that much money but I also (not so) secretly want it!

The iPhone 6 is sooo much better than the 5
    Mines a 4 so I'm in for a treat!
I never had the 4, but in a lot of ways I feel like it was better than the 5. But the 6 is pretty awesome. I love the fingerprint reader, the larger screen size and the increased thinness.
I have the fingerprint reader. And it's a 5s. Also, @stringy813‌ get a LifeProof case. It's awesome. Shatter, shock, water and dust resistant. You can drop it in water and it'll be fine. Totally sealed
