Anyone have any tips for nighttime weaning of the pacifier? We are good all day, and last night he went to sleep without the pacifier, but he woke up around 10pm (he occassionally wakes between 10-11 every few days, and I usually just stick the pacifier back in his mouth and its all good). I had the hardest time getting him to go back to sleep last night. Any tips/advice for anyone thats been through it?
We eliminated the pacifier lost two weeks ago. DS LOVED his pacifier at bed time but we went cold turkey. He had one night of waking multiple times but we just let him sort himself out. After a week he stopped askin for it and seems fine without it. Good luck. It's not easy!
We did it cold turkey about 4 months ago. She was only using it for naps and bedtime. It wasn't easy at first and it took about a week for her to completely forget about it. When she'd wake at night I would hand her her blankie and try to help soothe her.
