Infertility

We're not waiting any longer!!

DH and I talked tonight and we were going to wait the 6 months after his work trying to start our fertitility treatment process. My DH told me he doesn't want to wait the 6 months and once his test he needs to pass in a couple weeks is done he wants to start the process. We can do appointments as early as 6:30 AM and DH lab work can be done at the hospital. I left off with an RE consult completed and next need to call when AF arrives to start baseline and saline ultrasounds. 4 IUI and 4 IVF treatments will be covered by insurance. I'm scared it won't work and don't know what we'll do if that is it for us. I talked talked to multiple people who used the same RE and he has worked miracles for the impossible. I don't know just don't want to get our hopes up in the fertility treatment process.

  • Yeah, I guess when your so used to not getting good news each month you kind of expect it. I was reading that IUI won't work at all if sperm count is less then 5 million and DH has 20k. An obgyn did an ultrasound on me 4 years ago and was telling me how I had a lot of eggs. Yes, we are so lucky that it's covered!!! At least we have that!!!

  • Good luck!

Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).
