I haven't had my computer near me a lot, and, apparently I suck at taking pictures.
We came home late Friday afternoon; he had a really stressful morning that day - circ, echocardiogram and ekg!
We are doing well! RIght now he's sleeping the vast majority of the time, which we are enjoying, but I love the hours he opens his little eyes and takes everything in; it's amazing how quickly they begin following with their eyes, and if he's falling asleep sometimes my voice makes him awaken again so I have to be careful.
DH is head over heels in love and probably better at this than I am. I have no milk or can't get it out (the ducts were cut during my breast reduction surgery), and after meeting with a LC multiple times and trying a few things, it looks like BFing isn't going to be an option for me. This is rather upsetting, especially because I wanted him to get some breast milk, but it does mean that I sleep for 4-6 hours a night because DH is able to do half of the night with him and I don't have to wake up to pump.
Every time I look at him I can't believe that he came from me, and that he's ours. Forever.

He is beautiful! Enjoy every minute with your little boy! And like notkate said, don't feel bad about not breastfeeding. I was in a similar situation where my milk did not seem to be coming in so I had to give up trying. I understand the feelings of guilt and disappointment but he is fed and happy and that's all that matters! And having DH be able to split the MOTN feelings is a definite plus!
What a handsome boy! Watching your husband become a daddy before your eyes is one of the most previous moments, I'm so glad you get to experience that.
He is so beautiful! Your DH looks like he is on cloud 9. You have a beautiful little family. I'm so happy for you

I was just thinking about you, glad you and your family are doing well. Ditto PPs on the breastfeeding thing. I know you'll enjoy him - it really is amazing.
