Hi -
My baby has been mostly BF, and eats tons of solids (3 meals + a snack per day). About 2 months ago he started getting some Formula but was still mostly BF when we were together. My supply is tanking and I think we are done... So my question is, I have no idea how much formula he should be getting. Here was his approximate schedule on Day care days up till recently, and on home days it was the same except I BF before naps and gave him 1 - 2 bottles per day.
7:30 AM - BF
8:15 AM - breakfast
10:30 ish - 4 ounce bottle Formula
11:30 ish - lunch
3:00 ish - 6 ounce bottle
5:00 ish - snack
Either
6:00 - 4 ounce bottle formula while still at DC OR
6:30 - 2 ounce bottle formula at home
6:45 - dinner
8:00 - BF
So he was having 12-14 ounces of formula + 2 breastfeeding sessions per day. Now that he is so close to 1 - when he can give up formula, how much formula should he be having per day? He gets so much of his nutrition from food, I don't know how many bottles, and how large they should be?
I really appreciate any insight! Formula feels like a foreign language to me!
Thanks
