It could be a cyst and nothing to worry about. Have you had an ultrasound or nuclear medicine thyroid scan? I'm a nuclear medicine tech and I have Hashimoto's disease.
I've had to pre-pregnancy but never post pregnancy. I go twice a year for ultrasounds on it and will get biopsy's on it if something comes up 'suspicious.' Has only happened once, though. Like PP, I have Hashimoto's.
Message me if it comes back needing treatment. Had mine removed august 2012- with a positive for cancer. Had a bilateral neck dissection done December 2012 with 44 positive lymph nodes (of 58 they removed). Obviously scared me a ton and I struggled for acceptance. However, 2 years out and I am 22 weeks preggo with twin boys, happier and healthier than I have been in ten years. I only have check ups every 6 months and everything is going well!
