I feel like this is an AE or some other kind of crazy but I'll bite because I think it's important to stop fear mongering. Ebola is not airborne. Unless you have been in contact with an infected person's bodily fluids is not even remotely possible that it is ebola.
Being pregnant makes you more susceptible to colds and the flu than being not pregnant. A fever of 99 probably means that your body has noticed something abnormal and is reacting to prevent illness. I would take a warm bath and a nap and if you aren't feeling beget when you wake up schedule an appointment with your general practitioner.

This. Andplusalso, if you're really afraid of Ebola and other diseases, for the love of God, stay away from the hospitals.
That was the other thing I was afraid of. Like, if I need medical attention where can I even go that is safe?
If you really, actually need medical attention, you go to the hospital. But a 99 degree fever doesn't warrant an ER visit. Even when I had 104 right after birth last time, I called my doc before doing anything.
And I'm trying to calm down you guys I just feel like this is so scary and I don't know a lot about medicine and diseases and stuff but I keep hearing about it on the news and it's like WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THIS?
Um IrishCurls or whoever you are you don't have to be mean and sarcastic to me okay? I mean seriously. Maybe I'm being a little silly but you're just making fun of me and that's not fair.I came here for some support not to be laughed at.

But seriously, don't use your Esc key. Also. Fuck off, yo.
So don't think I'm crazy I'm not I swear I'm just really scared!!
Ever since I got preggo I've still been charting my temperature because I am really afraid of miscarriage and I want to know if my temperature drops because that's a big sign and so I take it every morning at 5am EVERY DAY.
This morning my temperature jumped up to like 99.4 which is SO NOT ME and it's like, DUH I know I'm not ovulating I'm not some idiot because I'm already preggers so I've got a fever
The issue is that I live in Dallas and I'm really afraid I might have Ebola. My hubs says I'm crazzy but I KNOW MY BODY OKAY and this is not normal. Everyone says it's not airborne but seriously that shit mutates and I just feel like I never get colds and stuff why else would I have a fever unless it was really bad???
I want to go to a hospital but hubs refuses to drive me and I'm afraid to drive myself because what if I like have some kind of attack from this while I drive???
What would you mamas do? I don't want to just sit around and wait!!!
Seriously though a GROWN ADULT should have more sense than to automatically ASSume they have Ebola, stop spreading ignorance. If you are concerned call you OB instead of asking the internet, again showing your ignorance, and take a fucking Tylenol as a fever reducer, for the "fever" you think you have.
Also temping in the Second trimester is unnecessary and will not indicate an impending miscarriage. Your temperature will fluctuate for numerous reasons throughout the rest your pregnancy. Put the thermometer away.
I hear pot prevents ebola but I'm not sure if it's safe while pregnant.
I agree. Its not like this ladies kids will have the chance to be rocket scientists anyways. Hell, at least they will have an excuse for their stupidity.
I get that you're a worrier since you are still temping even into your second trimester, but you have to admit that it's a little silly to assume you have Ebola JUST because your BBT was slightly elevated. There are multiple reasons that this could happen: you had an extra blanket on you when you temped, you hadn't slept well (which happens a lot to pregnant women), or yup have a bunch of unusual hormones going through your body causing your temp to be elevated. The very last assumption to jump to is Ebola.
I'm assuming you have retaken your temp since you've been up to confirm. What was it? If it's not over 102 I wouldn't think a thing about it. Even my son's pediatrician says a fever is not something to worry about unless it's over 102, and that is for a 3 year old.
I think you need to calm down and take your husbands advice.
Aly SHOULD GO HOME because you don't know anything about me okay? I'm in college right now and I'm maintaining a 2.5 gpa and that's probably better than you anyway!

My friend did it when she have birth to her daughter, La-A, and she's fine. she said it helped reduce labor pains and everything.

But of course this is all irrelevant since you are clearly a troll.
