I just jumped off the hot mess express that was the J14 catfish thread. Shit was CRAZY. DS is going through a growth spurt and his first leap so we are laying in bed, and I'm watching New Girl reruns hoping he stays calm and/or takes a nap.

Mama needs a DRINK.

For the last two nights Bug has decided he needs to eat every 60-90 minutes from 7pm-8am. Awesome. This must be that 6-week growth spurt.

To make this even more fun- today is the first time I've made plans to do more than 1 thing in a single day. We're going to a birthday brunch in Oakland and then I'm going down to San Bruno to shop with my sister. All via BART while toting Bug in the Moby. I hope we both survive!

The J14 drama makes me super super nervous. I have had suspicions about a couple S14 catfishers, but I have neither te time nor energy to sleuth it out.

LO is going through her first leap and starting a growth spurt, so that's making nights less than awesome. Also, my SIL just got into town and is staying for a week. The only thing we have in common is DH so I'm going to go out on a limb and say this week will pretty much suck

DD1 is pulling all of LOs diapers out, opening each one individually, and then reaching for the next one. I'm feeding LO so I'm just letting it happen. So I'll be picking all those up. Other than that I have no plans. Which I'm kinda pumped about!!

I took DS out shopping earlier with my mom. In a little bit MIL will be watching DS so I can go get a pedicure which I am looking forward too! Then not much else planned.

We are just hanging out at home today. It's rainy and cold so the perfect day for momma and baby cuddles. Then tomorrow we are having breakfast with my parents and normal Sunday grocery shopping.

I double booked our day today so I had to make some tough choices. We were invited to a birthday party for my son's friend and his sister when I was just out of the hospital and I only remembered last night. I had also scheduled a chiropractor appointment for the baby at the same time, and promised my nephew I'd go to his basketball game today. Since we had no presents for the birthday kids anyway, I decided to skip the party. Now I feel like an asshole and a flake.

My husband is taking the kiddo to a bouncy house place to make up for my general suckiness at planning things. We'll probably go grocery shopping later this afternoon, or I'll ditch both kids and go by myself.

Lacy WILL NOT let me put her down and my toddler is getting jealous.. DH is outside replacing his belt on the bike so he has a ride to work and I get my car back. Stupid belt took a week to arrive to the store..
Other wise I'm watching a NASCAR truck race (NASTRUCK??) LOL

We are having family pictures done this afternoon which will use for Christmas cards. I didn't do newborn pics or announcements for LO which feel kinda bad about so hope that these photos turn out good. I hope he doesn't notice when he gets older that we did them for big brother but not him. It's not that we love you any less buddy but we're just a lot busier.

I decided I wanted to organize my dresser which then lead to me going through my closet. I have 2 garbage bags full of clothing I am getting rid of. I am also taking breaks to feed, change, and cuddle DS. He started to smile yesterday when he looks at me and I am just in aw of my little man.

Sittin on my ass..all day long. DH decided to go hunting this morning and not tell me. We were suppose to go to the pumpkin patch this past week and it got moved to this weekend but where is DH when we get up?!? Gone! I'm not taking two by myself and everyone else is busy so I guess we wait until next week. Or tomorrow after church?

so I've decided he can wait on me hand and foot today.

Plus I've started bleeding again. Not sure if it's my period? I'm pretty sure I didn't get it last time until about 3/4 months. No cramps just random bleeding. I tried to call the dr and they said my OB had left yesterday but was on call but wouldn't patch me through? Um ok. Stupid ppl, my OB thinks there is a possibility of infection and monitoring me and I can't be patched through?!?

Went and got my first PP haircut and it was amazing! It's nice to do things that are so simple, but I used to take them for granted. It is really crazy how such a small thing can make me so happy.

We had a great day out with the kiddos. We went to Chili's for lunch, it is my daughter's favorite restaurant. Then we spent the afternoon at a local park and had a blast. DS slept the whole time so I got to spend some quality time with DD which I haven't been able to do since I came home from the hospital. Tomorrow is church, grocery shopping and football.

This is my first weekend back at work. I was way to excited to leave SO alone with the girls so he could see what my every day is actually like!

I read the catfish post to get through my first day. It is crazy that someone takes a whole year out of their life to catfish a pregnancy board. And super creapy that someone would steal someone else's kid picture.

So the J14 thing was beyond crazy. I am also sad to say I read all of it. I would be okay with us taking unedited selfies with our screen name and date on them. I would do it atleast.
On this topic, I don't think we currently have any catfish. There was one girl I am not sure if she was just a troll or catfish. The one that posted about gender selection, and then her mom buying her a vibrator. She always seemed to stir the pot and then have randoms come to her defense.

Today I went over to my grandma's house. My grandpa was released from the hospital to come home and be on hospice. So, I am trying to spend as much time there and help out as much as I can. Also, my mom is back to help, so I got to see her which was really nice.
Tonight my dh took dd over to the neighbor's for a fall party. The weather is to cold and rainy for ds to be out in so we stayed home. It has been nice just having one on one time with ds. However, it is weird having the house this quiet.

@kaleb87‌ Sorry to hear that your grandpa is home with hospice. Even though it was really hard, hospice was a blessing with my grandparents. I'm glad that they could be home and comfortable at least.

DD has been screaming for the last two hours. Nothing is calming her. She didn't sleep much all day. She finally passed out but I doubt it will be for very long because she's so restless. Is this the 6 week growth spurt a few days early? This has been miserable.

Today was my most productive day since LO was born. I managed to clean the kitchen and sort of clean the bathroom plus go grocery shopping. Life is so much easier now that DS has settled into a normal eating schedule. Of course now that I just said that, I've probably jinxed it... Sigh.

I had really really long hair right before I got pregnant and up to six months and wanted to do the side shave thing with my longer hair but decided to chop it off to about shoulder length ... Not sure if it would work with medium length hair. Yours is adorbs with a shorter cut.

I now have a huge eye opening to this catfish thing ... I was not active at all before baby was born (during my pregnancy) and I'm not sure why. But I have been trying to be now. I was so sick with pre-e but not sure if that is the reason cause I was always on my phone. Probably cause it took me a while to like this app. I'm never on a computer anymore.

I've seen some really cute medium length ones on Pinterest actually! If you search medium length undercut a bunch come up on there.

Yeah I tend to get bored and chop my hair off myself all the time. This was the first time I shaved it, but I had my mom look at it after I finished to make sure it was alright lol

@conradraging I feel like if I would have seen you while I was in high school I would have worshiped and aspired to be you. Your hair looks amazing! I would never be that brave. I wish I wasn't such a square, but I've pretty much always been a lame-o.

Also I'm just sitting at home, pumping, and enjoying the freaking silence of no baby, and no husband.  I forgot what real silence was. I love it.

Lastly I read that entire Catfish thread to my husband while he rocked the baby to sleep earlier. I know this kind of thing happens on the internet, I've seen it happen to friends/watched a "friend" do it when we were younger and know what types of people do it.  It makes me really sad for them, and also really sad for the people who get emotionally invested in their made up lives.

@SingleMom31‌ @jht14‌ @braybee‌ thank you so much ladies. I am glad he is at home, because that is what he wanted more than anything. The hardest part is just watching him suffer. So we pray he doesn't have to suffer to long, and that now that he is home he can quit fighting so hard to hold on.
