First/Last name problem

Is Elizabeth Meredith as terrible as I think it is?  I LOVE the name Elizabeth, and it has personal meaning to us, but I'm pretty sure it just doesn't work.  Darn it.  (I love Betty and Betsy, as well, and can't think of any other full names for those.)

elizabeth is a great name. I see the problem tho. if she will go by a nickname mostly, I think it might be OK.

It's a bit of a mouthful, but if you truly love Elizabeth I think it's fine.

Depends how much it bothers you. It doesn't flow well but if you can get past that and love it, I say go for it.

I'm sure you've thought of other options close to Elizabeth but I've always loved Eliza or Bethany.

I think it's too much, the endings are just too similar

I like Elizabetta Merideth. But yes, the endings are similar so I don't think it flows well.

I think it's fine.  I said it a bunch of times and it didn't sound awkward to me at all.  It does have the same ending but she won't often go by both names, plus someday she may get married and change her last name altogether.

Doesn't bother me. I would keep it. DD1's first name doesn't flow great with our last name but I just loved her first name so much that it didn't matter.

I don't think it's awful, but I do see the issue. If she would mostly go by a NN I think it's fine. And if you really, really love it, just use it.
