Sunday is church for us and who knows what in the afternoon. I am just glad H is going to be home. I have missed him.
I kicked butt on Christmas shopping last night. I am happy. No purchases yet but pretty sure I have almost everyone done. Wahoo. My family also has 7 birthdays with in a month of Christmas so staying on top is huge.

I really want to go to the movies tonight to see Gone Girl or Best of Me, but it depends what time hubby gets off.
Buttttt... It's a busy weekend! Starting the Babies R Us registry, football weekend for us, birthday brunch for my sister, picking out paint for the nursery and taping the room up. We need to get cracking on this whole baby thing!

1. My Grandma is trying to get involved and she isn't hosting. She suggested a unisex shower since my visit will be so short. I was fine with that, but my dad threw a fit, because he wants to go hunting. She then told him I assisted he be there. (which I didn't say). I know my dad is a selfish person and not surprised by this. I haven't see him in over a year. He rarely calls and he has never been up to see me in the 14 years I have lived in NJ. He also has 3 grandchildren from my brother who are about 30-45 minutes away and he makes little to no effort to see them.
2. My Grandma asked what food I wanted and I gave 2 suggestions, but really couldn't think of anything and didn't want to plan my shower. I suggested deviled eggs and pasta salad. I don't get deviled eggs often and I love them. She said she will tell my Aunt to make them. My Aunt FB me to ask why is Grandma saying you want me to make deviled eggs. WTF! I said I suggested, but really don't have to have them and I didn't request her to make them.
3. I talked to my Step Mom and she justifies my dad and his hunting, but said he would be willing to meet for breakfast. She also says other random stuff that annoys me. Whatevs.
4. I talked to my brother just to let him know the shower is all girl now and let him know that my husband will go hang with him and the nephews during it. He then tells me how the family never did anything for them when they had their kids. Hello! You had 3 baby showers! (one for each kid) Shouldn't you be happy that someone offered and I am getting mine?
Sorry this got long. They just all have me annoyed right now.
I'm up early to drive my MIL to the hospital for shoulder surgery.
Not much for weekend plans - 7 mile training run in the morning, chores around the house, and hopefully some rest after a long week.
Gah h and I need to register but we have been so overwhelmingly busy, especially h, we haven't gotten a chance. I may have to go it alone which I know H will be pretty bummed about.

Good Friday morning to all of you from the beach! Feeling too tired from our drive (only 6 hours) to walk dogs on the beach this morning.....
I think we should have a contest every morning (or once a week) to see who looks the worst when they get out of bed. Id win today.

DH woke up super crabby. Every time he hit the snooze he'd utter a swear. Finally I rolled over and told him to stop. Then we snarked at each other a lil bit and he left without kissing me. Now I'm wide awake and feeling bad.

DH leaves for Baton Rouge with his dad for the lsu game tonight. He will be there til Sunday mid-day or so.
Tomorrow my godchild and his little sis are on stage at their school fair. So I'll be heading to that. Then a out of town bestie is coming in for the week for a work conference. We have dinner plans with her parents and some others.
Sunday is my prep for vacay day. Taking the dog to get groomed. Taking the car to get washed and oil change. Clean the house because I HATE coming home to a funky house after vacation. And then starting to pack what I can.
As for Monday-- I got the call after my glucose test yesterday. It needed to be 139 or lower. It was 143!!! So now I have to go and take another 1/2 day to do the 3 hour test Monday morning. Ugh! This sucks.
That's my weekend.

last night i bought neighbors and me.and dh watched it. i didnt really like it. the way they acted just becayse they are parents was ridiculous.

My weekend will be busy. I'm working AGAIN due to a maternity leave. My MIL is flying in today to visit...dun dun dun. Jk, we get along. She is taking us shopping today for Norah and "this one".
I am keeping fx that my materniT21 results are called to me today. I had to get my blood redrawn for some stupid reason though so I might have to wait longer

Got to register last night. That was fun. By the end, we were both done so we hit Chipotle. Yum.
Need to clean this weekend (or better yet, today after work since I'm off at noon today).
I'm wanting to nest, but its just not happening. We have to finish the basement bathroom first so my older daughters can move down to their "studio apartment" and free up a bedroom upstairs to start as a nursery. My girls are 10 and 11 and so stoked about moving down to the basement. How lucky they are that they get to have all that space with a living area and everything!

Thanks for the well wishes for my brother, everyone. Addiction is a hell of a disease. I hope every day he can overcome it.
So exhausted, again. We have a quiet weekend, H is going to continue painting the nursey. I might clean. Regular dog park visits in the AM. I might go swimming, went last weekend and it made me feel so good I think I should make myself go more often.
That's my plan, which now includes pumpkin cake.
Oh: catfish=crazy person who creates a pregnancy alter ego and makes shit up for months to convince other bumpers that they are really pregnant like us. That's my unofficial definition as it relates to TB.
I'm the soul of excitement over here.
I'm so tired. I can't sleep ever. An last night DS was up all night coughing and whining.
I'm done. I need a really long weekend.
