Cut on finger

a couple days ago DS cut his finger a bit while exploring the house. He sucks his fingers a lot and it looks like might be getting infected. I have been trying to keep it clean but it seems impossible. I thought he was soundly sleeping so I put I bit of polysporin for kids on the cut but he ended up putting his fingers right back in his mouth. (Also worried that it was a bad idea for him to get polysporin in his mouth) I can't really put a bandaid on it because I'm afraid it will come off and he will choke on it. Silly question but I'm not sure what to do!

Maybe a mitten over his hand at night with the medicine? That's the first thing that came to my mind. Sorry you're having to deal with this. I hope LO's cut gets better.

Thanks! He's such a little fart he would probably have the mitten off in no time too but it's worth a shot anyway!

I'm having a heck of a time he won't keep anything on it he's fussy with a mitten, he can't crawl.

I called the dr she's going to get back to me about the liquid bandaid.
Here comes a vent!
I know it's just an infected finger but with other things going on it's becoming quite stressful. I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding tomorrow out of town so I'm trying to get ready for that, the rehearsal dinner tonight. My mom is looking after LO. My car has a flat tire so it's hard to go anywhere, mom said I could use her car but still. Ahh! I need a break!
