BC and cysts

So after one iui round I've now had to go two more cycles to let some cysts go away. I got these cysts from the clomid. Now since I still have a 20 left on my right, my RE wants me to go on birth control for a month. Isn't that against the whole plan? I've now wasted away three cycles to only go back to clomid after. Has anyone had to do this before? Any luck? My husband wants me to change drs because he thinks we're getting the run around. Need some women to women advice. *baby dust to all*

As others have said, this is common.  I did three weeks of BCP a few months ago and the cyst disappeared.  I was able to resume treatment right away.  I thought it was wrong to, but it works.
