What I mean is--Kawaiis seem to get a lot of love on here--they are definitely cheaper. Do they leak (or fall apart, etc) more often than a more expensive brand?
Why pay for good mamas if a Kawaii is going to be great?
Are cloth diapers kind of like brands of clothing (some fall apart easier than others and some are just expensive because of the name behind it) ?
Re: Do you get what you pay for with CDs?
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
I would tend to agree with this. Aside from the pocket vs fitted issue, one is a mass produced inexpensive option while the other is a significantly smaller operation. I think it's important to think about what you're willing to pay for.ndo you want to do cloth as cheap as possible? Is it important that it be ethically manufactured? Do you want to support a WAHM? Cost isn't strictly about quality of the end product.
But, there are other thins that go Into cost besides the quality. BG has lots of cute prints, kawaii is not know for that. BG does tons of marketing, kawaii basically none.
You hear about BG diapers with shot elastic and terrible aplix all the time, but not with kawaii. This is likely due to the fact that if a kawaii elastic dies, you could just buy a second to replace the diaper and still have spent less than on one BG. But BG get so much love they are worth repairing because of resale value.
