Seems like museum and activity memberships are the way to go. Sometimes I just pump up some music and let her have a dance party. I'm not much help in this area. She's in daycare 4-5 days a week, and even when we are home together the weather out here is usually mild enough that we can get some outside time.
Our town runs a play group at the Family Community Literacy & Learning centre. The play group is not organized, just a time frame 4x a week (Tuesday's and Thursday's, mornings and afternoons). The kids play, moms can visit and have coffee. We've started to go to that and we have a few organized activities we do during the week as well (swimming & music lessons)
