Anyone have experience with a polyp in their uterus while they were pregnant? All my doctor said was it increased the chance of miscarriage, and I expected to come home and research it more but I can only find information about it causing infertility, not about pregnancy with one.

Yes.
I had never had any previous problems with my reproductive system. So it came as a surprise. I had been on bcp for 10 years, came off, had one natural cycle and conceived on the second.

At my 7 week u/s my dr called in another dr and they said they thought I had a polyp, I was freaked because it looked as large as our baby. She said she wanted me back in 2 weeks to check up.

At the next appointment my dr looked and looked and said it disappeared. Sometimes the growths come from such a large increase in hormones. My research had said it's a threat for miscarriage when you're going through IVF. When not using IVF and you conceive the risk decreases because the embryo has already implanted in your uterus, which is generally considered the problem with polyps. They block implantation/make it difficult.

I'm not sure how far along you are, but hopefully you have a happy story.

My sister said she had a girlfriend who delivered all three of her boys full term and perfectly healthy and she had several polyps during her pregnancy, one as large as a lemon.
