  • I'm sorry your uncomfortable. I always take some ibuprofen, but I'm the first to a pain reliever if I'm not pregnant. Hope they don't last long.

    Everyone Welcome

  • I honestly can't remember from my last one. Of course, that could be because it was 7 years ago. And no judging, okay? The differences between the American healthcare system (where I grew up) and the Canadian healthcare system (where I live now) are big enough that it made it extremely confusing and downright scary to try to figure out.

This for me too.....I don't really think paps are all that big of a deal

But, other people don't think that HSGs are that big of a deal and I fainted during mine, so....

Hope you feel better soon, OP

  • @lav17 - I'm much more comfortable now actually. I'm working as a support worker at a home, and so I usually ask my boss the basics, but if it comes to a point where I need to get more information on specialists, I'll definitely remember to ask =)
I think the fact that I was only 19 when I moved here had a lot to do with me being overwhelmed. I actually told MH the other day that we were very lucky that they didn't charge us for going to the hospital when we first got up here. I didn't apply for my medicare for almost 6 months (didn't know how), and all I had was an expired OHIP card.
