All good here - baby Ryan has a new game of kicking my cervix in the middle of the night, which wakes me out of the deepest of sleeps. It's amazing how it takes a second to realize what happened, remember that I am pregnant, and fall in love with the little wiggle worm all over again. Yes, I am glad to wake up at 3am with a vag kick because it reminds me he's in there!
Passed my glucose test. Took my flu shot. Met with the pediatrician group that will attend the birth (we will be using another one after we get home because they are too far away, still TBD). Nursery is coming along, too! My Mom is sewing curtains and altering the crib skirt and making pillows. It's making me giddy!
Now in 3rd Trimester at 27w2d... that's surreal, exciting, and petrifying all at the same time!
QOTW: Heat up some cider, light a camp fire in our firepit, and snuggle with DH in our backyard.
Off birth control March 2012 - Actively trying Sept 2012-April 2014
BFP on May 5th after Follistim & IUI #3
Hi, ladies.
Things are going well here. We had our "32 week" OB appointment this week and did our preadmission meetings with the hospital and the anesthesiologist. Both went really well. Everything still looks good and my belly is measuring right at 33 weeks. We have a growth scan with the MFM next week. We also have birthing class Saturday and maternity pictures on Sunday! Looking forward to all the fun stuff the next few weeks will bring.
We have transitioned to OB appointments every two weeks now which is crazy!
I lurk on you ladies daily and am always rooting for you and hoping for a wave of BFPs soon.
QOTW: College football. Nothing better than the smell of gameday on a beautiful fall morning.

We had our follow-up U/S after learning that we lost our twins. I didn't sleep for 3 days worrying that something was wrong. Baby was happy, active and moving around like crazy. Baby's heart rate was 172 and everything looked good. A and B are still there. There is a big difference in size between Baby and A and B, but it looks like A and B are starting to reabsorb and even though we won't have them with us, they will always be with me. I'll never lose them. My mom wants to go to the next U/S and was pissy with me when I told her that we hadn't decided yet (she asked me less than 24 hours after first asking me). I originally told her that I had to talk to DH because it is his child too. She also wants to be in the delivery room, so I think we are going to use the U/S as a bargaining chip and tell her that she can come to the U/S, but when it comes to the delivery room, its only going to be DH and I. This has been a very difficult pregnancy and she's not helping here.....Anyways.
QOTW: My favorite fall pastime is apple picking and then making homemade apple sauce. We do it every year. :-)
@southernyankeegirl Wow, third trimester! Yay! I bet the nursery looks great!
@ttuprincess It sounds like you have a lot of exciting things going on this week!
@sugar4bri I'm sorry you had such a scare! I'm glad everything is going well now though!
@MrsS728 I'm sorry this pregnancy has been so difficult for you so far. I'm glad everything is going well with baby! As far as your mom, I really would do what you want and stick to it. When I think back to our wedding there are things I compromised on and "let go" with my mom and mil and I still regret not doing everything that I wanted. I only imagine it would nag me more when it's about pregnancy! It's your pregnancy; your mom got to have her pregnancy and now it's your turn to do what you want. Good luck with everything.
Hi ladies! I'm still lurking and checking in on you!
There isn't much going on with me at the moment. There was a mix up apparently and they won't be able to have me in for the NT scan, so I don't have an appointment until 16w. I'm very upset about it and will probably call Monday to at least have another office visit and Doppler check.
On a happier note, I'm working on getting announcement cards made up for our family that we don't see too often! Symptoms are transitioning from morning sickness to headaches and tiredness, haha!
QOTW: I love apple picking! We go every year and this year I found a really tiny apple that I took a picture with for the baby!
