I ovulated oct 6.. my period is due on Monday.. my breasts began feeling tender a couple of days ago.. ( which can be pms) but today I feel so nauseous. its bad.. can that start this soon even. u think its too soon to test
everybody's symptoms and timing of symptoms can be different so it's hard to say if it is or is not related. I think it's possible that it could be pregnancy related, but I always feel like early pregnancy symptoms prior to getting a positive test are a hindsight thing (oh yah, my boobs hurt, or oh I guess I was feeling pretty tired). If you're okay with getting a negative test, I don't think it "hurts" to test now, but don't be surprised and/or consider it a done deal if you do.
If you're pregnant enough to be feeling true pregnancy symptoms, you'd also be pregnant enough to turn a test positive. If it's negative, you're not pregnant at this time and what you're feeling isn't pregnancy related. See, the hormones that would cause symptoms have to be in much higher concentrations to cause those symptoms than the levels required to turn a test positive. Very low levels of hormones are needed to turn a test positive, those levels have to be much higher to cause noticeable pregnancy symptoms.

Ectopic discovered at 8 weeks, right tube removed 01/18/13

My body effs with my head when we are trying to conceive. I notice every twinge, pain, soreness and immediately relate it to something PG related. I swear that just causes more phantom symptoms to the point I was throwing up, swearing it was morning sickness. Nope. Now that I'm doing IVF I have to take progesterone which makes the body think it's pregnant, so the symptoms start rolling in. IF sucks. FX for you though!
I was absolutely convinced both this past cycle and the cycle before that I was nauseous, lightheaded, urinating frequently etc, etc. and thus I must be KTFU. Then cue AF. Point being, the mind is a powerful thing. The stick doesn't lie, though. Good luck.

I did the same thing last cycle, I was 3 days late, puking, sore boobs. I tested BFN started that evening. I told my husband that I swear if I wanted my period to start all I had to do was pee on a stick because every time I do test I start the same day.
Agree with PP. The head games your body plays SUCK! Even when you are a grown up rational woman, ttc brings out the drama, symptom spotting teenager in us. But the stick doesn't lie. ..if it's not in your head you should turn a sick. If you don't, and the symptoms are very obvious and pronounced, you should see a doc because they probably are related to something else. (Thyroid, ulcer/reflux, intestinal issues, hormone issues, etc. ) but if it's not that big I've noticed the cure can be poas. Amazing how fast it made mine go away before. Lol

Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014. Never ending cycle starting end of Sept...
11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues
12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle") OBGYN had no clue... about anything
01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so possibly straight to DE and IVF
Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).
