Hey ladies!  So excited to catch up with you! Hitting the 24 week milestone is good but really won't get excited until 28 weeks.

Had OB appointment yesterday and everything still going well.  Babies are doing well and this morning I saw a kick from the outside for the first time and I was amazed!  Holy cow the best part of pregnancy by far. We have our nursery painted and getting the carpets cleaned next week then we wait on the furniture to arrive!  I have my first shower this weekend!

QOTW:  honestly just getting a decent night sleep would be at the top of my list these days   My husbands birthday is in a few weeks and we don't exchange gifts but instead go out somewhere super nice. This year it will be our last big date night out before the babies come most likely so I am looking forward to that even though by then I will look like a freak show I will be so big!

Hi Ladies - 

Sorry I have been a little MIA on updates here. Not too much to report.  I am 25 weeks, 5 days - almost at 3rd tri!  Feeling ok - of course some fatigue but overall not too bad.  Ordered the Nursery furniture over the weekend and ordered paint samples yesterday - so hopefully we can decide on a color and get the room painted before our little one arrives!

ksgsmu - a decent night's sleep would be wonderful!

Hope you are all doing well.  I think of you all so often!!

Hi ladies! I haven't checked in for a while. I'm 33w1d today. I don't have the biggest baby bump but I'm still pretty uncomfortable most of the time. We finally painted the nursery on Sunday. Now DH just needs to put the crib back together. We really don't have much else ready. I've been such a procrastinator. DH agreed that we should probably get the car seat and bases soon so we can make sure they are installed properly.

I still lurk and root for all of you!

 

QOTW: Like everyone else just being able to sleep. A couple weeks ago SD came in our bedroom EARLY both Saturday and Sunday and we were both like, "Oh hellz no!" We reminded her that she's old enough to go get herself a drink and turn on the TV until we get up because come December there will be no more sleeping in.

Hello lovely ladies!

I got the "all's good" for my NT scan and am 7 hours away from being in the second trimester by **everyone's** definition. I'm shocked. I honestly didn't think this would ever happen. I've been dealing with the work arrangements ("maternity leave" in the US is a bunch of bullsh!t--apparently you're merely allowed to take your sick time--WHO KNEW?!), but haven't gone fully public yet, nor have I decided when I will. I'm still tired, but otherwise all is going well. I've entered the stage where people are probably wondering why I'm getting fat, but I don't have a real bump yet. I've been thrilled for the people I know who have transitioned to PAIF so far, and can't wait to see everyone else there!

QOTW: Mainly I have a lot of work goals. Otherwise, I just want to get the house and nursery into a ready state. The nursery is currently dry wall with no flooring, so we have a ways to go.

Last check in for me. Our little girl was born last week. All of treatments, pregnancy complications, and pain were totally worth it.

Hi ladies! I'll be 18 weeks on Monday. Going kinda fast over here. I've been so busy with school and work that I don't know what's going on anywhere anymore. I had my ob appt yesterday and (once again) baby was laying perpendicular- so I got a great view of the top of his skull. They pushed down hard from the side and got the measurements they needed- but I haven't seen the baby move on the ultrasound in a while. Still wearing regular clothes and I'm almost back up to the weight I was before I saw the RI.
QOTW: cleaning out my trunk is definately on my list. I need to do it soon so I can figure out which strollers would even fit in my tiny car. Hopefully before it starts snowing.

Hi Ladies!!

Not much new to update right now, but I finally started to feel the babies move at the end of 22 weeks!!! At first It was only on the left side with Baby B, but now at 23 weeks I am feeling it on both sides.

QOTW: We are trying to get the house we just moved into in as much order as possible. We are busy painting and small home improvements.

Hello all,

Sorry for the late post.  I'm 28 weeks and 2 days.  Things are going well, I have my first shower today.  It is just a group of 8 friends or so getting together, should be fabulous.  Our nursery is pretty much done and looking to see what we get from showers before we buy any more things.

QOTW:  I guess I'm still nesting the house, I'd love to paint or hire someone to paint our upstairs hallway (we have only painted one room in house since we moved in 2 yrs ago...baby room...lol) so we can hang our announcement/maternity/and baby photos upstairs.   We still have all the holes/flaws from previous owners.  It is just so much work to get things done.  I also decided to take off 2 weeks before due date which would start xmas day.  Being a floor nurse, I'd never get that time off, so hoping to take advantage if baby isn't here by then and enjoy the holidays as much as possible without work or school!  I'll be in classes during maternity leave, so won't really have a "real" break.

Hello, all!  I'm 13w1d today.  Getting close to 2nd tri... I can hardly stand it!

Yesterday, I had the NT scan, and it was all good news.  It was really great to see both babies and hear both heartbeats.  That was the longest I'd ever gone without a scan, and I'd had a few spotting incidents - It was such a relief to see that things are going well overall.

QOTW:  The boring answer is a lot of cleaning and planning that I've been putting off, maybe partially because of IF brain.  We haven't even decided which room will be a nursery, and we're sort of clueless about figuring out childcare for when I return to work.  My MiL still doesn't know where having twins, and I'm afraid her offers to help might have been premature.  (I love her to bits, but the she has bad knees, and I don't know if two babies may be one too many).... but these are happy problems to have.  I feel that after IF, we can face almost anything.

The better QOTW answer - I'm going to follow @ksgsmu 's lead and be sure to schedule nice dinners out with DH more often.... at least once a month - because I'm pretty sure two babies will take us out of the fine dining club. 

I miss a lot of the ladies on this board, and I'm rooting for all of you.

Hey All!

After spending 22 days in the hospital they finally released me.  My water broke with our angel baby who passed at 21 weeks.  He was delivered at 29 weeks.  His twin brother is still going strong!  We are scheduled for an induction on November 16th!  I CAN"T WAIT.  They allowed me to go back to work so i'm trying to stay peppy and make it through full days but after being on bed rest for 22 days its tough.  3 full weeks to go.  I know I can do it!
