Happy Thursday! It's almost the weekend. I've got one more day of school and a school meeting that I'm really not looking forward to. One of my group members who I haven't met yet (randomly assigned groups) has decided to bring her 5 month old baby. I can't get out of this one so I'm dreading being faced with the baby. You know? I have no been in the presence of a baby in 2 years - I'm such an avoider. ">
What's your day look like? Anything interesting happening? Any plans for the weekend?
Here are two quotes that I felt was super appropriate for us, feel free to share your own.
Good morning @PinkCamino I hope your meeting goes well. Big hugs though- who decides bringing a baby into work is a good idea? More hugs! You can do this
As for me I'm back at work today after having to leave a field trip at the farm due to an anaphalaxic reaction to a bee sting I got on my neck lots of meds later I'm feeling better but omg I'm so mad about it. At least it was me and not anyone else though!
After work SO is making dinner (he did buy donuts this morning too) and then we'll watch a move.
Good luck today Pink! It's certainly not going to be easy and I hope that it goes better than you are anticipating. Many ((((HUGS))). Thank you for the quotes. They are definitely super appropiate!

Oh no! I hope you're feeling better! Did you know you were allergic to bees?
It's a school meeting actually, we're working on a group project and I guess she can't find a sitter.

I haven't been stung in forever. I'm still dealing with random allergies (for like a year now)! I had a similar experience with eggs in January. Luckily we acted fast and I carry the epi pen. I'm doing much better today but that site on my neck and leg from the injection hurt!
Pink, I hope your group meeting goes well. I know it will be hard, so know I am thinking about you. Also, I hate group projects, they are not conducive to happiness.
AFM: MIL is home alone today as her sister is leaving. This means, that I have to go home after my monitoring appointment and finish my work day from home. It's not a terrible thing, just inconvenient and a pain. Work will not get done. Also, I forgot to shave my legs and trim up the hoo-ha so I will be furry for the monitoring appointment. Hope my technician doesn't get offended!
Hope your meeting goes well. I hate being trapped in a position with having to be around a baby. Sorry you find yourself in the position as well. Hopefully you stay super busy with the project and you don't even notice the time flying by. GL
We were going to take our pup to the beach like we do every Thursday, but the weather has other plans for us. We might drive around and do some shopping instead. Who know, it feels like a lazy day.

Just have my interview today! Then hanging out with a friend later tonight. No big plans for the weekend my husband goes back to working nights this weekend so I'll be all by myself. I always hate it when he works nights but we have a fun week planned next week
Hi Pink! Sorry you have to deal with a baby tonight at your group meeting. And I always hated being put into random groups for school too, you never know who you're going to end up with and if they are hard workers or not, causes too much stress. Hopefully, despite the baby, you find yourself in a good group!
AFM today is my Friday! I decided to take tomorrow off so I can get some stuff done around our new house and/or get more packing done at our current house. We still have a lot of painting to do before our new carpeting is installed a week from today.
Hope everyone has a great day! {{hugs}} to those who need them.
Aww Pink, that's unfortunate. I'm sure it won't be nearly as bad as you're dreading it will be though. Just remember, staring is completely appropriate
AFM, 2nd of 3rd day off. Lots of catch up planned - laundry and dealing with the pile of dishes in my sink mostly. I have to run over to the doctors at some point today to drop off the receipt for our Medicare - they sent the renewals to our former address and so we didn't realize they were expired until we got to the doctors *sigh* Other than that, might see if I can work on my costume a bit, or maybe crochet. No, I really should work on my costume, especially since I actually found my glue sticks again lol
