just curious as DS says no words what so ever. Speaks tons, but none of it is English. I just realized he will be 15 months tomorrow and I thought kids normally said at least something by then.

Nothing here yet. G will be 15 months Nov 1. Like yours, G babbles all the times. Closest thing is a weird mmmmma noise when he wants more food.
Do animal sounds count? Ian is a great mooer. He's probably only really saying 5 words, but he also has signs. The pedi asked if he was saying 3 words yet at his 15 month visit last week. All babies go at their own pace, so I don't worry about it.
I said zero. She makes lots of babble, and there are definable certain sounds for certain objects (ie Ba for ball), but she says nothing that is an actual English word. It's okay though. She walks like a boss. And her tone is very conversational. Toddlers gonna toddle

My nephew was like that, now at 18 months, he says so much! For so long it was all just sounds, but now he can really say and use a lot of words. Don't stress over it, but bring it up at your next pedi visit.
I read everyone's answers after a previous poll like this and got really down bc so many other j13 babies were saying more than my lo. Everyone is different!
I figured I would mention it at the appointment, but I 'm not worried. He definitely communicates what he wants, signs a little, and has great receptive language. He has been meeting all milestones at his own pace (just started walking about a week ago), so I figure this will come when he is ready.
DD was only saying 4 words and then right at 15 months she had a word explosion. She now says: hi, bye, mama, dada, nose, flower, doggie, wawa (water), up, papa, ball, bear, block, owl, no. She can also point to her nose, head, mouth, eyes, and tell me the sounds a sheep and a dog make.
All kids develop at different speeds. I would definitely address it at your next appointment, but do not worry.

We are the same. Adrian was 15mo on October 3. All he says is mama and dada, and mama isn't necessarily directed at me.
30-40 but I haven't counted in a bit so I could be more than that.
I decided to count when I got home to see and it is 45...but like everyone said it can happen really fast that they learn new ones. So 15 could come very quickly.

I would say maybe 2. Mama and dada. She will be 16 months in less than a week. But this last week she has become obsessed with looking at books and having me point things out. So maybe more soon?

He is really good at making noise. Does that count? He talks A LOT, but not too many real words. He can say mama, dada/daddy, papa(food), shaked his head no and signs eat, more & milk.

I suppose not.

There are words she has said and forgotten, like up, more and dada.
