I'm 38 weeks 1 day , and feel really "off" today. Super tired even tho I got plenty of sleep, a little nauseous, moody, crampy, and back pain. Just curious how you guys felt before going into labor?
That sounded like everyday of third tri to me. The day I went in labor felt like any other day. I went to bed that night and my water broke about an hour later. Contractions didn't start until an hour after that.
Yep, all this except my water didn't break. It felt like a normal third tri day until the contractions started.

I had this yesterday! Exactly as described, and I was also 38+1. Today I feel just fine, like I do most days (pregnancy unicorn right hurr).
I had about 3 days of feeling "off" before I went into labor. Each day I felt that way because of something different. The night before I went into labor I went to bed with very bad back pain that came on suddenly. I could tell I had started pre-labor, but the other days I really couldn't because I had what could be described as normal pregnancy aches and pains, just more intensified.

A few days before DD was born, I had a feeling of "something is coming". But nothing physical.
With DS I felt nauseous the night before and it continued into the morning with actual throwing up. Then I started having untimeable contractions but I went to the hospital anyway because I was just not feeling good at all.
I felt totally normal. No nausea, regular old third tri exhaustion, hip pain. No indicators that I would be in labor in the morning when I woke up. Of course, my water broke first and contractions didn't start for 90 minutes, so maybe if I'd had contractions first, I'd have had some physical symptoms of labor.

This is really encouraging. I've been having contractions every 8-10 minutes, off and on for 2 weeks, and straight for 2 days. I'm fried. I finally decided to start my maternity leave today, so I'm hoping its soon!
I've been having false labor for weeks babies been head down and 2cm dilated for 4 weeks with no other change.I am now 4 days overdue Hoping little one makes her appearance soon or Dr will induce on Monday! I am a FTM too but was hoping for no induction! Getting so anxious for this show to get started so I can meet the little one
