We're back from our trip!

I've missed you ladies! I was thoroughly exhausted yesterday so I sent T to DC and took a nap! But otherwise, here are some trip highlights!

Plane: T did as expected for the most part on the plane. He slept, he ate, he had meltdowns, he giggled, he snuggled, he loved watching other planes. The last flight was the best and we had no tears, but I think mostly because it was later and we ate/played the first 2 hours and he slept the 2nd 2 hours. My advice to any mamas going cross country is avoid layovers and just get the flights over with! But we all survived!

Work: my work event went awesome and I got some really high regards in my company! I might even get a few seconds on an oprah special (which I'll share if it happens!)

California: We loved it. H is in love with San Fran and I loved the whole area (mountain view/Palo Alto to santa Cruz!). I want to move there! T got to see a beach for the first time (funny that it's a west coast beach when we live on the east coast) and we had a few nice family moments!

Relationship: well, that part got the worst score. We were so stressed that we fought like 75% of the time. Going across the country with a toddler including one whole work day for me in 4 days wasn't easy! T hated the hotel room and showed some serious daddy favoritism and it made me so frustrated. Plus h was not the nicest.

Overall: h and I made up upon the return and both apologized for being not so nice. It was stressful, but h and t had an awesome day in San Fran while I worked, I had a great event, and we enjoyed the sights. So not so bad but wish we would have had an extra week!
