@mcsarah1104, a little bit tonight, all the rest of it tomorrow. :( So sorry for your losses.
TOO PRACTICAL! ;-)  I was hoping for some enabling.  It's ok, I haven't drank in a month now, feeling pretty buzzed after just 2 glasses.

I just thought of this one - when do we stop calling ourselves noobs?
@forevermyfenix Though there really isn't a time limit on it, I would say when you feel like you have graduated from the Newbie Check-in and when you find that you are able to start answering other's questions regularly.

Here's my question: when you trigger does it release ALL the eggs, even the little ones, or just the dominant, full sized ones?

  • Ok, this is late but I have one. What is better for determining things are actually over? Beta going to zero or an ultrasound showing everything is gone?

Also does anyone know if you miscarry naturally do you shed your lining at the time of the miscarriage or is that just "products of conception" (hate that term) and you finally shed your lining at the first AF?

I'm wondering bc my RE said no real reason we need to TTA starting after 2 weeks after loss, but no medicated cycles until after first post loss AF. Maybe it's just that it's extremely unlikely trying without meds would result in anything in my situation?

    Sorry for the depressing questions...

But thanks for the noob playdate!

  • @lav17‌ that's why I was confused. I'm supposed to come in after my first AF post loss to make plans. I was told nothing in the vagina for 2 weeks then asked about condoms vs otherwise TTA after that and prior to AF and was told it probably "didn't matter". Im going to TTA until after 1st AF anyway (bc mentally I'm still a mess). Not sure if my chances of conceiving naturally are so low and that's why? Sounds like best to TTA.

  • Hi, can I play?! EOD sex...is that just during your fw or do you literally have sex every.other.day? I'm guessing not but would love to hear when during your cycle you start and end EOD sex. Thank you!

I know some who do it from the time AF ends until she shows again, but of course the only days that truly matter for conception purposes are the 5 days before O and the day of. That being said, cycles are not always totally predictable so you should get in as much action as possible. Additionally, unless a man has low motility or other compromising factors, it is actually better to do every day.

  • I'm a newbie so I will post this here: If you just found out today that you had your second loss of the year, do you drink ALL of the black box of wine leftover from the house warming party, or just a little bit?  Extra details: It IS only thursday and I guess I probably I have to go to work tomorrow.

Real question: What should I expect on my first appointment with an RE?  I already made the appointment and it's in a week and a half.
@Mcsarah1104 my first RE appointment is this thursday so I will post about it.  I have always read these posts from others.  Usually the first appointment is mostly going over your history.  My Doctor's office has a fairly long history form to fill out and bring.  Sometimes people will have an ultrasound at the first appointment and others won't.  They will likely order all the labs, CD 3 blood work, possibly 7dpo bloodwork and a HSG for you as well as a sperm analysis for your husband.

I'm curious, and I'm sure it's posted somewhere in the TOU, but I can't find it. If someone is banned from TB and have their avatar changed to the "keep calm this person is banned" red photo is it a permanent ban, or a temporary one?
Not sure! @wickedsugar or @petrastonegirl might be better suited to answer!
    It depends...
Both. As long as a ban is in effect (either perma or temp) it will show that avatar.

Now, why do you ask? I'm really curious what made someone think of this question.
    :-B
I was looking for past info in the intros thread on TTFAS board and realized a couple people on there had it. One in particular is a person I know a few people had issues with on other boards previously. So I was curious if we'd ever see her again.

that would be great, thank you!  I actually got a packet in the mail from them, I opened it but it made be break down in tears and I didn't have time for that this weekend, so it's just hanging out on my coffee table.

Since I haven't had my D&C yet, does anyone know if I should call them to see if they want to do any tests on me before I do that?  I feel like the person who answers the phone won't be able to tell me, but I don't want to miss out on an opportunity if there is one.

((hugs)) I don't think there really is anything they test for before doing a D&C. I do know that when I arrived for my second one they took a blood sample to check my rhesus status. Because I'm negative blood type they prepared a rhogam shot.
