AW: AF and BFN Wine commencing

Well AF showed up today. (little spotting then little heavier tonight) So I went out chopped my hair, got my eyebrows done, colored my hair and did my nails. Now I am drinking some wine and pinning all the cool baby stuff I would do for the child I am not having this cycle. Its a sad and pathetic time! Feel free to join me in this wine off!

HSG- Tubes Clear slight scarring on UTE (unexplained)
DH SA- Normal
10/12-6/13 Natural 
Pcos Dx 7/13 Metformin 500mg x2 daily
4/14 Provera  10days  then Clomid 50mg CD5-9 (BFN)
5/14 Provera 10days then Clomid 50mg CD5-9  (BFN)
6/14 (no provera yay!) Clomid 50mg CD5-9  (BFN)
7/14 Natural Cycle Moving on to RE appt not til 7/31 (BFN)  
8/14 Plan of action! Moved up to 1500mg Metformin, Femara 3-7 (Trigger canceled due to not big enough follies and holiday weekend) (BFN)
9/14 7.5mg Femara CD3-7 +ovidrel  (BFN)
10/14 5mg Femara(3-7) Follistim 75 (7-9) +Ovidrel +TI (last treatment cycle this year Breaking til after Holidays) (BFP! Beta #1 114, Beta #2 364)

    Ugh. So sorry AF showed up. Big hugs to you. It's good you are pampering yourself. You deserve it. I got AF the other day...the first thing I did was grab a glass of wine (at 10am lol). Sometimes wine makes things a tad easier. Continue to pamper yourself :)

    Diagnosis: PCOS

    September 2013 - January 2014: Not trying but not preventing
    February 2014:     Officially TTC (BBT, OPKs, etc)
    February-August 2014: Irregular Cycles, U/S showed Fibroids/Cysts, Provera required to get AF, BFNs
    September & October 2014: Testing Months with Reproductive Endocrinologist!
    DH's SA: Normal (116.4 million sperm, 97% motility, 36% morphology) - WHO criteria
    DH's Repeat SA: Poss. Low Morph. (138 million sperm, 73% motility, 8% morphology) - Kruger criteria
    HSG and SIS: Normal (tubes clear)
    Medicated Cycle:     5mg Letrozole + Trigger Injection + TI = BFP!!

    ESTIMATED DUE DATE: AUGUST 13, 2015

    Beta #1: 12/8 - 1,040 Beta #2: 12/10 - 2,902 Beta #3: 12/16 - 19,321
    Ultrasound #1: 12/12 (5 weeks 1 day) - Gestational sac and yolk sac present
    Ultrasound #2: 12/18 (6 weeks 0 days) - Measuring good, heart rate 99
    Ultrasound #3: 12/26 (7 weeks 1 day) - Measuring good, heart rate 150

    I'm glad you pampered yourself. Just don't torture yourself via Pinterest. HUGS and all the wine for you.

    I am so sorry AF showed up. If I wasn't on a Dr ordered two week dry spell I would totally jump on the adult beverage train. My cold bottle of wine mocks me every time I open my fridge.
    Me-33 DH-36.
    Married 11/10 TTC 11/10
    06/11- diagnosed with PCOS 
    7/11- D&C and benched for a year 
    9/12-4/13-6 rounds of 50 mg Clomid- no sucess 
    6/13- new doc
    7/13-4/14- 6 more rounds of Clomid. 50 mg and then stepped up to 100mg- no success 
    5/14-7/14- took break waiting for new insurance 
    7/14-new insurance= new doc- actually a RE!!!! 
    7/14-HSG and blood test good-PCOS confirmed by new doc 
    10/14 looking forward to 1st IUI w/ Menopur. Blood Test= Negative
    11/14- IUI #2     w/ Menopur- Blood Test= Negative
    1/15- IUI # 3 w/     Menopur- Blood Test= Negative
    2/15- Self Benched this cycle
    3/15/15-Suprise BFP on natural cycle!!!! EDD-11/16/15

    Prenatal Vitamins (per OBGYN- 9/2014) 1/day

    First Round of Clomid (begining 9/13/14)
    Progesterone Level Day 20 Results: 4.5

    So sorry for the BFN, but glad you pampered yourself and cracked open the wine!
    Me: 31 (PCOS) possible right tube issues DH: 36 (SA normal) 
    Started dating in 2006, Married 2012 
    TTC since November 2013 
    First RE visit due to irregular periods: June 2014
    Lap/Hysto to remove polyps, cyst and tube blockage 11/6
    Cycle 1 (Dec. 2014) TI with Clomid, Trigger, & Progesterone CX due to no response
    Impatiently Waiting CD1 to try again with Fermara Back on the bench due to giant cyst,
    who know I'd ovulate on my own after a cancelled cycle and end up with a mega cyst :(

    June 2014 - Dx w/ significant PCOS and referred to RE.

    July/August 2014 - Testing complete: Testosterone & AMH very high, FSH slightly high, Vitamin D low, tubes and lining all lovely. DH SA: A+

    Cycle 1 (Nov 2014): 2.5 mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI = BFN

    Cycle 2 (Dec 2014): 5 mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI - BFN

    Cycle 3 (Jan 2015): 5mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI - BFN

    WTF consult scheduled for 1/29

    Your hair looks fantastic! I used to do my hair that color, and I loved it. I wish AF hadn't shown up, but screw that biatch. Big hugs!

    I second the Fenn Valley wine! Super tasty. We visited the vineyard in May and they do gigantic pours.

    Love that you got your hair done. What a fabulous idea! Enjoy the wine! I just had a second opinion consult with a new RE and he told me that red wine is good for fertility (anti-oxidants) so drink up!

    Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

    We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

    So sorry for your BFN!  I am glad you found a way to take your mind off of it for a little bit, but agree that pinterest would be torture for me!

    Married: 6 years

     TTC since: Sept 2010

    Diagnosis: Stage 4 Endometriosis, Hashimoto's

    Treatment: Lupron (3/2010 – 9/2010 & 7/2013 – 2/2014)

    April 2013 - BFP – missed mc confirmed 5/08/2014. D&C 5/22/2014

    Sept/Oct 2014: IUI #1 (Gonal F + HCG) = BFN

    Oct/Nov 2014: Temporarily Benched due to multiple cysts on each ovary.

    Nov 27: IUI #2 (Gonal F + HCG) = BFP

    AF is a bitch.  Sorry for your BFN.  I'm ok most days of my cycle, but that day can go fuck itself.   

    I think you are handling it in the best possible way though!!

    Every time I get a BFN, I buy myself a present, or splurge on one guilt free food item (pizza and milkshakes anyone?!)  It's rewarding myself for the hardwork, and it helps spin my mood from pessimism to optimism!  Just hopefully means the start of another try! Enjoy the wine!

    Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14
    Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14
    IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)
    Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709
    u/s at 5w0d- 1 sac; u/s at 6w0d 1 baby with heartbeat, another sac without a heartbeat
