clomid side effects

Help! I'm on day 2 of Clomid with monitoring of course.
I can't get off the toliet. It hits me hard and I have to run to make it.
My stomach cramps bad and I could sit for an hour all the while feeling weaker.
Is this a normal side effect?

    Hmm I've only taken it once but don't remember the stomach cramps. I had some crazy hot flashes though. Do you still have the sheet from the pharmacy that came with the clomid? It should tell you the normal side effects. Hang in there! Call your doc tomorrow if you're worried.

    I took 5 months of Clomid and never had that side effect. I would call your Dr tomorrow, you might also just have a bug.

    TTC#2 Since 2/13 (Secondary IF)
    2/13 thru 2/14 - Year of charting, OPK and TI
    3/14 thru 7/14 - Clomid cycles, DH SA came back good
    8/14 - HSG and more blood work
    9/14 - Letrozole + trigger + IUI#1 = BFN
    10/14 - Letrozole + Bravelle + trigger + IUI#2 = BFP!! EDD 7/27/15

    Oh no :( Could it be coincidental in that could you have picked up an illness?

    I only did clomid for one cycle so I'm no expert on it.
    Me: 32, DH: 33
    DS #1: April 2010
    DS #2: July 2015 (preemie born at 31 weeks) - our little miracle conceived through ART - unexplained secondary infertility/adenomyosis

    That wasn't a side effect for me, hot flashes and bitchiness, but no cramps. Not sure if I've ever come across anyone saying that was a side effect for them either. I know our bodies are different, but I don't think clomid should cause that much pain. You should probably double check with your doctor to be sure.

    I would almost prefer the digestive issues to hot flahes. Seeing the doc this afternoon :)

    He agreed could be a bug or something I ate but told me to call back tomorrow if I was still cramping
