Once again, I'm posting this a day early because I've got a book event tomorrow that will have me running around all day, but wanted to make sure I get our check-in up. XOXO

Welcome to Ladies In Waiting. This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP. Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions. 

-Check in is every Wednesday- New members: Post an intro and your current TTC status. - Current members: Post updates, link to your chart, upcoming appointments, requests for T&Ps. - Weekly check-in's will include an inspirational quote.

Please do not worry if your name is not on the check in, I only put those that participated in the previous check in. Please make sure that if you get a BFP to PM me. I try to check PGAL, but sometimes I may miss it.

AFM, all is well here. No sign of AF showing up, my temps are still high and no symptoms yet, but she should make her appearance sometime this week. The good news is I'm already 11 DPO so yay for a decent length LP! I'm thinking last month was just some first post-lost cycle wonkiness. So now I'm so ready for AF to show and burn this bench! Also, met with a new OB yesterday and loved him, so I'm excited for the future. He did order a test for rubella immunity, so that is the only thing that could hold us up (if it is negative). So FX that it comes back positive and we can start TTC! I should find out tomorrow. Hugs to all who need them this week!

As for me, I'm doing OK. I'm in my first 2ww since March, so I'm excited about that. I already broke down and tested yesterday & today at 7 and 8 dpo. I know it's crazy early, and of course they were BFNs. But I've gotten a BFP at 8dpo before, so a girl can hope, right? Luckily I have a lot going on this week to keep me distracted from the second half of the 2ww. I did go to the Dollar Store yesterday and buy a bunch of tests, though, so I'll probably be POASing every morning from here on out.

Hi! I'm new here, posted an intro yesterday. Experienced 2 losses in the last year and beginning again to try for #1. I am only 4dpo and am waiting anxiously for the day I can test...of course. I haven't been charting temps because I obsess over them too much, just used opks. Trying to relax for another week but as you all know it's impossible.

AFM: I am alive this week. MIL has made me cry twice b/c of insensitive things she has said. I have decided that if she has to do chemo she cannot stay with us. I just can't do it. I know that is insensitive and ungrateful and all those terrible things, but I just can't. If she does have to stay with us, I will have to not be here. I can't be around her very much longer. Mostly b/c it is not ok to punch a mastectomy patient. Not to mention she is H's mom. Sigh* I feel like such a bitch about how I am feeling, but I dunno what to do about it. 

On a TTC front, I have a monitoring appointment on Thursday. We will prolly be triggering this weekend, which brings its own set of crap. I am pretty strung out this week and it's only Tuesday. I am refraining from drinking all the wine, but just barely.

@ctk181 sorry, I just realized I posted something for you that applied to someone else. What I meant to say was I hope AF shows soon and you can BURN THAT BENCH! Sorry 'bout that. I've got a cold, so I blame the cold meds I took about an hour ago 

@petitchou1019 PMS is a nasty beeyotch. I feel like it was extra bad for me in the first few cycles after losses.

@megrae12 I do not think you are being insensitive, just human. You've dealt with a ton in the past several months. There's only so much a girl can take. Keep us posted on how monitoring goes, 'kay?

@bookishmama‌ thanks for the check in! Frustrating is an understatement! I have no idea what's going on. I don't know if I'm waiting to O or in the 2ww. I guess I'm just waiting for AF? I dunno & it's driving me nuts

@megrae12 , oh hun you're not a bad person for making that decision. Like PP have said, you've had to deal with an awful lot and being around someone who has been insensitive is a little too much to ask, let alone an insensitive person who may feel the need to be looked after all the time.

AFM , it's been odd being back on BCP. I'm fortunate in that they dont really give me any bad side effects that some ladies get. It's just a little sad every day at noon when my phone reminder goes off. IDK, actively preventing a pregnancy right now is bittersweet. I know we shouldn't be TTC right now - it hasn't even been 10 weeks since delivering Fenix. But it is a little sad swallowing those pills. It's just weird. 

It is nice having short and consistent AF though. I had been on the Depo Provera shot before conceiving Fenix (I was waiting for the Depo to wear off to start BCP when we got his BFP), so really this is only my second AF in almost 3 years. 

I think I'm going to keep temping just to keep the habit while I'm on BCP. With any luck, it'll only be 2 or 3 more months until I get to ditch them. We'll see how it goes. Right now DH still has a ways to go before he can emotionally TTC again. FXd in January he'll be ready.

@forevermyfenix I can totally understand how taking the pill every day can be a painful reminder. ((Hugs)) to you. I'm glad you are giving yourself and DH some time to heal emotionally.

I intro'd last week but I'm about 3 weeks post D&C and just started BCP Sunday.  Dr's orders he'd like us to wait 3 months before TTC again.  I'm oddly happy to be back on BCP - with my PCOS my cycles are so crazy, these next three months will help me feel 'normal' again.

@petitchou1019 Yey for crosshairs!! Darn emotions play tricks as much as anything, hope they are giving you a que that AF will be making its appearance soon so you can get on with your journey!!

@ctk181 I have heard from so many that their first cycle post loss was totally wacky! I am so glad this cycle seems to be falling together so you will hopefully have a general idea of what you can expect your first month back TTC! Hope AF makes her appearance in a few days so you are onto your first TTC month!

@aenelson We are on a similar cycle! I am 4DPO also but I don't have the restraint you do..I would go more crazy if I wasn't temping . Hope the next week goes fast for you and we both get exciting news when our time comes to test

@megrae12 You so deserve several bottles of wine! Don't apologize for how you feel, you have your own things going on and need to concentrate on you! I hope you can get it all worked out so everyone is settled and you don't have to worry about DH! FX that everything goes as planned and your triggering this weekend!!

@natalie115 Sending you Hugs!! Sorry your so confused! Hopefully as you continue to add in your temps you'll get some clarity! Perhaps you can request doing CD23 blood work to confirm if you ovulated? Based on the progesterone number that comes back they will be able to confirm if you have O'd or not! Hope you get some clarity!!

@forevermyfenix Many Hugs! Hope while on BCP you can get into a consistent pattern with your cycles that will result in smoothly flowing into TTC and being on top of getting a quick BFP once you have the go head!

I ended up getting a positive OPK on Thursday so my RE had me go in a day before my scheduled appointment. They checked my lining and was happy to see it at 8MM (they want to see 7MM or thicker) and they were looking for at least one follie that measure at least 14MM and we were excited to learn we had one that measured over 14 coming in at a strong 25MM. We did go ahead with the trigger!! I had strong (I'm assuming) ovulation pain in my right ovary starting at noon on Friday and it continued through Saturday morning. We were told my egg would be (available) 12-24 hours after the trigger so everything seemed promising. We did get bedding in on Thursday and Friday night so I think timing was pretty good. We are currently 4DPO and I intend on waiting until next Wednesday to take my first test.

@ashtog‌ Such big hugs!! Sorry your going through so much emotionally, but hopefully everything becomes more clear and your feeling better about your decisions with time. Our hormones don't help darn it!! Be good to yourself and continue to enjoy DH, let everything work itself out in the immediate future and you can look forward to focusing on TTC again when the time is right (IE Jan/Feb).

Hi, I'm new this week, just intro'd this morning.  I had a MC on 10/6 and now I'm just waiting for that to finish.  I had an appt this morning and US showed one small clot remaining.  We should hopefully be cleared to TTC by the 1st of November.  I've been bleeding/spotting for almost two weeks straight but I'm just anxious to get my period again and get back on track.

I had my root canal today. Need to go back in 2 weeks. If all is well they can save it otherwise will have to pull. Dreading this....hopefully won't have to go pull route after all this. DH has his repeat culture this week to see if infection is still present. Seeing urologist at end if month and hoping for good news so we can start trying again! Feeling sick after root canal today. Couldn't stop sneezing and blowing my nose.

Hi ladies! I'm fairly new, I intro'd a few days ago. I had a D&C two weeks ago today for a blighted ovum that took almost three months to pass with naturally waiting AND Cytotec. We are waiting on my first AF to make sure everything is back to normal. Good luck to everyone!

I hope that I can join this check-in. My intro was posted earlier this week. The mc has finally ended after 4 weeks of bleeding, so now I am in the wait till first AF. OB order is to wait three cycles.

@flyoffeve - Welcome. I am so sorry for your loss. The wait for that first post-loss AF can be excruciating. FX that it goes by quickly for you. And I hope the next three cycles pass quickly!
