1. I have 2 sick cranky babies, 1 sick, cranky husband, a sick cranky mother, and I myself am sick and cranky.

 

2. In addition to being sick, I am trying to throw a b-day party together for next weekend and I have a series or stressful meetings today, Thursday, and next Tuesday and my concentration level trying to prepare for these is like, zero.

 

3. I lost 5 pairs of LOs pants.  They have been gone for awhile and I have torn my house apart looking for them. They are not in the house. I don't understand how I could lose that many pants.

 

4. My babies don't look like babies anymore.  They look like little girls.

My husband cleaned our downstairs this weekend for the few people we had over for DD's birthday. When he was done I found the toilet brush on the kitchen counter hanging into the sink. WTmajorF???

My baby has more and more words every day. This morning during breakfast I tried to give her some more yogurt, she looked at me and said very loudly and clearly "done".

I can't believe she's 1 but I absolutely love this stage!

5 hours into a 13 hour road trip and Emma has slept for about 4 of those hours off and on. I'm ecstatic!! On the way here it was the total opposite. More screaming than anything.

awww-thats so cute!  We have no words yet although I think Haley was trying to say 'water' the other day.  She had her sippy and I asked her where her water was.  She held up the cup and said something that sounded like "ahgm" We did this over and over and she repeated it the next day too, so we are thinking maybe ahgm is water.

DD absolutely dispises milk and it's giving me anxiety. I'm still nursing but have no stash for when I'm at work.

I tried putting Cheerios in milk today, but she just lets the milk run out of her mouth and eats the Cheerios :-/

@ballygirl, hope everyone feels better soon! That is how I spent my whole weekend, taking care of sick baby and husband. And then I got sick. I'm supposed to be at work today, but I just couldn't do it. So I get a freebie day. DS is at daycare, DH is at work. I just wish I felt better to enjoy it.

My baby has no words, and he doesn't even try. It is starting to worry me.

I had a shitty morning, literally.

I found LO in a poop-painted crib this morning. Cloth diapers, you have never failed me before!!

I left my house and took about 3 steps out my door before stepping my neighbor's dog's poop. All of the shoe.

Please no more poo today!!

The Royals game got rained out yesterday, and I am in baseball withdrawal.

Flying by myself with my baby later today! Only an hour and a half flight but I'm nervous to see how she'll do on the plane, it will be near her bedtime. Also, I'm lugging the carseat and heavy-ish stroller to the gate so that should be an adventure. Wish me luck!!

My DH started his first day of two weeks straight working. O isn't in school again until the end of the month. I hate taking the two kids out alone because O doesn't listen. I need a park closer than 20 mins away that is fenced in so he doesn't take off.

I was at the park with LOs last week and there was this father with 3ish year old twins and they were just running circles around him.  They were everywhere and the guy was so overwhelmed trying to keep an eye on them.  He'd grab one from imminent disaster and then look up and he'd see the other one standing at the top of the slide ready to dive down it head first, so he'd run over and save the second from disaster and then lose the first one.  He finally picked them both up, one under each arm and carried them out.  I saw my future and was scared.

aww- I bet he's just taking it all in.  My brother and I both didn't talk until we were almost 2.  My mother said I just pointed and grunted.  Then all of a sudden I just started talking in full sentences around 2 years old.  My brother was the same way.

@ballygirl, he does this exact thing. When we're eating dinner and he wants water he will point and groan. Before we give it to him we say, "water. Do you want your water?" Then he just groans louder.

I know he doesn't have a hearing problem and he seems to understand us just fine. I guess he's just stubborn.

@PharmTechMom1216‌ , that is some real terrifying children-of-the-corn stuff, there, lol!

I'm sick and DH dropped off DD at daycare.   Even being sick, I was thrilled at the thought of a day off in bed....  until daycare called for me to pick up DD because she is sick too.

H is having a colonoscopy done right now.  I feel like a crappy wife for not being there.  Dd had her one year appointment and I would have changed it but he had already called his dad.

I really hope he can get this figured out because he's been miserable for 2 1/2 weeks.  We spent 4 1/2 hours at the er on Sunday.

I'm stressed because he's been no help (which I understand obviously) so I've had no break.  I'm stressed because he hasn't gone to work and so no money is being made and then big bills are coming up plus now medical expenses.

Waaah!

But dd is currently sleeping and fell asleep by herself!  It took 30 minutes of her chatting to herself/playing/minimal crying.

Well, turns out the girls have hand foot and mouth poor girlies. Daycare called and sent them home, so we went to a clinic. No wonder they've been so fussy about eating lately. Poor girlies. I hope they are better for their party this weekend!

BJ has been on a major power trip lately. Mods have been removed and people are getting banned right and left. Basically the bump admins suck and there are mass exoduses happening.

That's fucking ludacdris. BJ is ruining shit.

All jennlin did was mention another message board in a Parenting thread. Apparently that's promoting a rival company. I feel like this should be its own thread here but I don't want to be stirring the pot when it's not really my drama.

I tried to pop the balloons from Saturday and it hit me in the eye. I got bitch slapped by a balloon. It hurt SO bad...I'm surprised there isn't a bruise
