Hi ladies! I'm going to try and make a bigger effort into being active and getting to know you all individually. I'm an introvert and I lurk more than I post most of the time, so here's to trying new things!

I very very rarely am only doing one thing at a time. Right now, I'm selling garbanzo beans to try my hand at making some hummus and bumping. Totally weird for me because I don't usually try to many things in the kitchen. I just saw I had a few dried packages of garbanzo beans and figured "Why not" (any tips would be much appreciated!)
Anyways, what are you multitasking with?

    For once, NOTHING. I have Salisbury steak cooking in the crock pot for supper, so that's already done. All I'm doing is waiting to take my daughter to dance class tonight. Otherwise, I am free to bump as I please for a little while! It's nice.

    I'm cleaning the kitchen, clearing out my DVR, eating dinner and bumping. DH is working a detail tonight, so I have the house to myself :)

    I don't have any tips for making hummus. I thought it was made with chickpeas??

    I just finished pulling down one set of nasty blinds that were in the house when we bought it and hung curtains in the dining room. I'm currently enjoying the sunlight streaming through the window.

    I'm also catching up on my Simpson's Tapped Out and thinking about taking the dog's for a fast trip outside since we are officially under a storm watch.

    I'm currently eating dinner, watching "How to get away with murder" on DVR and have my work excel sheet up (though I'm doing more bumping than working...)

    Oops! **Shelling - peeling the skins off. Hummus is pretty good when it's flavored right. We'll see if I can get it right the first time. Really I just needed something to spread on my wraps that I make to bring to internship during the week.

    Those cookies sound awesome! I'm surprised you've still got some left from Friday. I have poor self control and it's not uncommon for DH and I to wipe out a dozen with a quickness

    I just walked my dog - a major victory even though it's only drizzling. Now I'm curled on my couch watching hgtv and bumping. Feeling down today so I'm allowing mh to bring home fast food for dinner. Something I rarely allow!

    @hoping&waiting12 , I think chickpeas is another name for garbanzo beans. Maybe? *shrugs* either way, bean spread! Must be nice to have the house to yourself. What's for dinner?

    @kcrkcs . Aww, how old is Savy? Crating them after a surgery is so hard isnt it? We have an English Mastiff who we had to crate because of a broken leg that occured before we got him. Poor thing was crying for several nights. 
    @PinkCamino oh chart obsession! I haven't charted for more than one cycle and then TTA BCP for now, but I can relate to waiting for those darn crosshairs and the never ending questions about temping. 
    @O2Girl haha I love that badge! I don't have cable, but I recently added youtube murder documentaries to my multitasking list. Whatcha watchin?

    Haha I like your idea of murder docs..... I actually just have the guide up at the moment...... And some odd show in the background. Im really bad at multitasking apparently lol

    I just got home and I'm bone tired, so I'm cuddling the dog and fiddling on my phone while I wait for my show to load on the tablet. I'm considering checking classifieds for some new place ideas, but that would probably just frustrate me because we're determined not to move before spring.

    I don't think I've ever eaten a pumpkin cookie. I'm a big fan of pumpkin roll with cream cheese icing. I bought a pumpkin pie for last nights dinner and I wasn't crazy about it - I think it was the cloves? The pie was spicy.

    I love pumpkin l cookies! I make mine with just cinnamon so they don't have that spicy clovey taste. I would send you some if I was closer- one of these days I'll head back to Canada :)

    I'm cooking steaks on the grill in the rain. Nuts, but we just got the grill over the weekend and are dying to try it out.

    Sorry guys I'm back. Shelling those chickpeas is ridiculously time consuming and my fingers are all waterlogged from soaking them. Now I know why people go the canned route! I'll keep soaking them this evening and will finish up making hummus tomorrow when I've gotten some choice ingredients. In the mean time, I'm cuddling with my Blue Front Amazon Savannah. She always likes to wind down the evening preening on my lap. 

    @ashtog , OMG I'm a huge fan of the supernatural series! I've caught up and am waiting on the next season to come out so I'll try not to give spoilers! And the recipes I've seen making hummus looks ridiculously easy once you've got unshelled chickpeas.

    @imakeeff0rts , I tend to fart around on my phone a lot. What kind of phone do you have? 
    @crazycupcake52 , I never could get into football. Went to college at FSU and never once made it to a home game. double chocolate muffin sounds divine though!
    @sarcazstic10 , oh! a man who does dishes! where can I find me one!? lol
    @ctk181 , I dont blame ya one bit! DH's mom finally nagged her H enough to get her a big green egg and she's been loving it. Hope your steaks were good!
    @amybunny30 , I'm a big fan of garlic too, so I'll take extra caution to heed your advice :) 
    @skategirl128 , I made some pumpkin spice cookies yesterday. I just baked them out of a box recipe. They must have been good because my dog totally swiped mine off the counter. 
    @littlemrsw , gotta love those perfect fall days of relaxation!
