Also do you feel Fallon Claire flows?
DHs favorite name is Claire but a close family member used it first and it's out. Also I don't personally love it but I was thinking maybe as a middle name I could compromise and he can still use it.

I love Claire.....and it is so much better then Fallon. Fallon sounds very hard and clunky to me. Nms

I know a girl named Falon. Initially I really liked the name, then later decided nope.

I do admit I was surprised it was a girls name because it sounded more... I guess clunky, like you said.

Girls names are so hard for us. I find it so hard for find girl names that I love and then DH vetos them all lol. DH keeps saying we better have a boy because we have two names set and ideas to spare for boys. XD

Always open for suggestions. We do seem to be often lean towards more uncommon Irish names. >.<

Fallon is all surname to me (or soap character!!) and while it's an Irish surname you'd never meet an Irish person with it as a first name (well at least I never have).

What about Roisin, Aideen or Fionnuala (or Finola)

I don't think it sounds good at all. I only think of jimmy Fallon. If anything it sounds like a boys name to me.

I really like claire.

I knew a girl named Fallon in high school who had a baaaad reputation. I don't really like the name anyway.

Claire is nice, but I would mn it if you don't love it.

Sure. Greyson Michael is the first. But it is also a tribute to my father who pasted just before I found out I was pregnant with my daughter and a friend.
And the second name is Killian.

Girl names we have thrown around

The ones I like and most are guilty pleasures:

Marceline (tribute to a friend but DH just can't get on board)
Kinley (doest grow)
Ireland (a place)
Mavis (again a tribute but sounds old)
Mira
(tribute - her full name was MiraJane. Sounds like maryjane which makes me think of pot. Wish I could find a full name DH would get on board with and use Mira as a NN)

DH names:
Alexia (I'm not a fan and we just had 3 family and friends use Alexandria and variants)
Claire
Ahri (boys name and an added h!)

We have talked about others, you probably see my posts. But they are just us throwing ideas out.

Thank you deafy. My DH wi be glad to have a supporter and I admit I didn't think it was so awful. Well it was an idea worth making a post about lol.

And Mirabelle is pretty. Is it to much like putting two names together?
Also Dh is fighting Aria as a compromise to Ahri >.<

I'm in the minority here, but I actually like Fallon. I had a friend in college named Fallon and she was awesome.

Every Fallon I've met is fairly girly. You can be girly no matter the name and Mirabelle would go with Fallon depending on last name don't need too much of a mouth full. But it's a good name to stand alone for another.

I forgot that Morgana was another name DH and I kind of agreed on but everyone also agreed it sounded like an evil queen. But Morgan just wasn't the same to DH and I. Just ran across this name so thought I would see if you guys think it's less evil queen and then I see what DH thinks.

Mirabelle is a legitimate name, and I wouldn't consider it a smoosh name at all.

Well DH vetoed it. I'm always worried with names like that, what is legit and what is smooshed. I usually like them though

We came across it and didn't think it was terrible, still don't, and if I had chosen anything I wouldn't post it here because my mind would be made up.
If you read any of my other posts or any others in this thread DH an I have very different opinions on girl names and it's getting hard to find a middle ground.

Fallon is ok. Not a favorite for me. I love irish and Gaelic names. It's kind of a tradition on DHs side and we both have irish and he has scotch.
