Winter Hats/Mittens

I'm in Oklahoma, so it's still 70s/80s here but I will need to be getting DS and DD new hats and mittens for the fall/winter.  Any of you northern folks have cute ones that you are putting on your babies that are affordable?  Pics and links are appreciated.

Re: Winter Hats/Mittens

  • In almost 4 years I still haven't mastered how to get mittens to stay on but I think the ones I have that worked best were the cold-weather mittens from Children's Place.

I did look at the Woombie Mox mittens last year but didn't end up getting them. I may try them this year even though they kind of look like socks on their arms.

  • I've always used Old Navy for DD.

  • I got my DD's hat from baby gap. They are having an awesome sale today too.
  • I have a box of cute gloves and hats, but most have gone unused. My one piece snowsuits (and there are some adorable ones out there!) are amazing!

They are much faster to put on than a coat and gloves and a hat.

Plus, you know baby will be cozy, with no exposed skin because gloves are coming off or their coat riding up.

  • Probably Old Navy? DD1's favourite hat is Old Navy and DD2 has a hand-me-down from SiL so I didn't have to think about it. If we're not staying outside long or just going in the car, she has hat, mittens and blanket in her car seat/carrier.

She also has a snowsuit from Old Navy for staying out longer because coats on babies is madness.
