ok i need help either Gannon Clemens Layne or Gannon Layne Clemens i cant decide.

i just messed up is all when i was pregnant with my daughter i never really used the polls or anything so im not sure what to do

Honestly, not a fan of either. Plus that's a really long name. I assume there's also a last name to add there.
You have plenty of time to decide. Keep looking.

well my daughters names Daisie Inez Marie but her name is sentimental....and clemens is my grandpas middle name

I like the Clemons Layne...without the Gannon part..just seems like a really long name plus double middle names are a pet peeve of mine...

Gannon reminds me of that girl on 16&Pregnant (don't judge, I watch it) Mackenzie, but she's really hick sounding (we're from the same state, so I can say that) so every time I hear Gannon, I hear her whiney hick voice saying "GannnnnEN"..

I wouldn't bother putting this on the baby names board either. They won't like the name Gannon and you won't get positive feedback from it.

i made a mistake like i already said....and i didnt get Gannon from teen mom i dont watch that show i got it from a family friend and i loved that name ever since its different and theres not alot of unique names like that i want something that i know alot of kids wont have

I don't think the order of the names is the problem...I think the actual names are what I am having a hard time with.

@daisieinez22the name Gannon isn't really my style but if you like it go for it.  I don't think the order of the middle names really matters, however, Layne is the feminine spelling of Lane.

I didn't say the name itself was hick sounding, I just said that's what it made me think of. Oklahoma, here, so I'm just as "country" as the next.. But at the end of the day, your baby! Nobody can decide but you!

ok if yall think the name is gross the ok fine but no reason to comment negative stuff on the names we want and we dont want a name everyone else has used we want something totally different

Nope. I could see polling us if your child is a week old and still nameless, (and even then, ask your family) but with 6 months to go, this seems totally pointless.

1) Don't tell me how to comment. I don't like the name, so I pointed that out. I don't think that is being negative. It is being honest when you asked about a name. People gave you pretty valid opinions. You can name your child whatever you want, but that won't keep people from making fun of his name his entire life. 

2) You gave no background on your name choice. It would have been relevant to say that Layne is a family name to honor someone. But you never said that and then got mad when people comment on the traditional spelling. 

3) Capitalization and punctuation are part of proper etiquette on a message board.

I'm sorry this is a public forum. She nor you have to respond to anything anyone says, but she kept responding and now you are as well. You shouldn't blame everyone else for causing drama when it's a bunch of internet strangers and obviously neither of you have read any posts in April 15 otherwise you both would know that people here give honest opinions whether you want them or not. It's the internet, no one can control how someone else is going to respond to anything. Sure no one here had to give their options or keep commenting but no one here is going to just quit because someone can't handle a little criticism. If she quit then why did you have to make it worse and add fuel to the fire? If she quit then fine but it doesn't mean everyone else has to stop commenting how they feel. If you don't like what's being said don't read it. That's how simple it is. If a notification keeps going off, log off the site for awhile.

I have certainly had people stand up on my behalf, I have NEVER had my husband scream at a bunch of internet strangers because I got a little butthurt. I am actually very thankful he hasn't, as I would likely question both his sanity and my own.
